I think it was good because the first day (while it was 9/11 in europe/asia) admins really enforced it. now it is 9/11 in USA and I see almost no enforcing compared to yesterday. Yesterday was alot of fun because abuse from freecops/cops was really down, now today is even worse than a normal day.

Think about if these people were relatives of you, how you would feel then?
If you can comment on this like some people did, you just don't have a soul...

Whilst I share much sympathy towards the 'traumatized' family's involved in the horrific acts of 9/11 subsequently  I feel the event in particular was not a success and should not be carried out again.

My prospective of Argonath RPG on said day, is that it ceased to be the Argonath RPG I was familiar with.

To my belief, Argonath RPG is supposed to be a corrupt country where crime is high, this is how it is regarded officially on the communal website.

In regards to the 9/11 atrocities, I feel the idea of only thinking of the 3000 lost and putting the day in there honour rather then in the honour to all.
The high amounts of civilians killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, is truly disgusting. The majority of civilians seriously injured / kill are the fault of physical actions such as unmanned aircraft bomb dropped by US and allied forces and general lack of co-operation and knowledge.

 Iraqi civilians killed 864,531
Iraqi civilians seriously injured  1,556,156
Afghan civilians killed  8,813
Afghan civilians seriously injured  15,863
Rough estimation for Pakistan (Killed): At-least 1,400
Rough estimation for Pakistan (seriously injured): At-least 3000

It is vital that everyone knows and as current members of a community must agree it is wrong to force your opinions, views and beliefs onto others. These core values were ignored with the acceptance and pursuit of this event.

The act of forcing and degrading members of the community who did not agree or conform to the agreements carried out by some on this day is seriously concerning.

The server administration seemed not to be informed of the rules of this event, or did they know how to act, and thus misunderstood the event for a forced set of rules.

There will always be a need for healthy debate and discussion, and more should be done to accommodate this, and it should not be regarded as "MOANING".

I personally feel there should be continued respect for others, but I cannot say of how much importance it is for better understanding and beliefs and opinions of all party's, this can be done by community lead projects with the support and understanding of other members and administrators.

What about the pilots that crashed into the towers? Why won't anyone feel sorry for them?

For the first few hours it was okay, when /su was disabled. but then I left and came back on, and Cops were chasing criminals, a guy got suspected for 'he hitted me' and regular day stuff, there was also a 207 in the last hour of it, so the point of the day was kinda destroyed.

I couldn't be on the server at the crime free day. But I think it is good to have such a day once in a while. It can help make people see that non police-criminal RP is also fun. You really want to do this police-criminal RP, then just skip this one day and have fun the next day. But I hope those people took this chance as an opportunity to RP one time with the people who are normally their opponents (and only seen in shootouts). Maybe it will help next time to respect each other more and get some good police-criminal RP's..

Anyways, I hope to see this day back next year.  :)

woah Curse that is honestly pretty off topic and this is not about bashing americans/soldiers, it was just about honoring the dead. You werent informed? it was on the forums. for a long time. politics probably dont belong here : ) you're just going to provoke everyone into a fight.

I think no crime day was still good though, atleast half an hour I didnt get suspected for stupid shit. it was fun to play like that, that and the cops that were still on duty were atleast fair. sometimes its nice to have alot of people as civilian. the server can change the way it operates for ONE (and maybe 1/2) day, it is not going to ruin your life, if anyone needs a cooldown, its you lol

I feel you have completely misinterpreted my statement.

I have been posting before the day had even started with concerns, and those concerns definably came true.

My post was not intended to put the blame on "Americans", it was written to show there are still many more who have fallen as a result of the 9/11 atrocities which lead to two wars, 1 which has officially been labelled Il-legal, the other one which is believed to have been lost.

Over a million people have died. Why not remember and honour them?

Including US soldiers and civilians, Curse. Why don't you have the amounts of US civilians and soldiers who died fighting for this as well?

Also curse, just to correct you, "Iraq War" is NOT a war. We are not in wartime in America. It is a conflict unless the congress declares war. Vietnam was not a war, Im pretty sure korea was not a war as well. It is really the media that put the war label on it to make it more intense/scary/make them more $$
