Let me point this out:

We were even training in shooting on Old Argonath - to give a good answer to dmingers...
We could handle in one time even 2, 3 and even 6 dmingers around... We were getting respect from them and getting new friends...
We were not afraid to step into fight... We did not give a f**k if we were rammed: the rammer could face the bigger problem then he caused...

Back at RS 1/2 (Well, not sure, but maybe it was still RS 1 back then), when you spawned, you got weapons. I even remember how I always picked county cop skin simply to get my 50 shotgun, and abused entering all cop cars to get even more.
When spawning as Grove Street you got 9mm and that kind of gangsta weapons. Even TEC 9 i believe.

If you give me with every spawn all my weapons back with full ammunition, I wouldn't even think of shout anything about DMers and Freecops.

But I guess that'll never happen for obvious reasons.

Personally, I imagine a way to stop 'moaning' would be to make money worthless, then no one has anything to complain about but I don't think that's a viable solution as it would ruin some of the incentives to play on Argonath.

I have put an idea long time ago about making all things free or resetting the money on Argonath.

And it was denied because of everyone's precious money being resetted which they earned "FOR A PRETTY LONG TIME QQ"

Now admins cannot even teach the newcomers, because all they do - respond on every fart report, cannot even check properly one report, when 20 others moaning about admins doing nothing...

This part is especially true.
If anyone can view the admin chat for even one hour, they will notice almost all reports we respond to are about DM or flame.

Back in 2008 there were a lot of admins. Rarely i could see one admin against 70-80 of people.
Nowadays server population raised to 130-140 on evenings, and even then i see a handful of admins, which is a shame. Good think moderator waves will fix that, but it takes time to pick out suitable men for this "job".

It does not matter if there was 1 admin or 100. If people did not cry to admins for everything, we WILL get a lot less reports on deathmatchers as people would be able to deal with most things (except hackers- that's where we always came in) themselves.

IV:MP server does not have a monetary script implemented yet, so there is no money flow anywhere.
We have about handful of commands and we have fun. RPing mechanics at half bugged Pay'n'Spray.
RPing an investigator/detective by going on duty then /skin to change it to a man with a suit, etc ...RPing a fireman with unsynced hose.
RPing ad drug dealer without any drug scripts implemented.

Almost half of the server players have 10 million  cash balance(due to Caion's failed paydays/maths) and there is no greed whatsoever.
We even organize a free DD just to ram ourselves for the fun of it.Cars don't explode, they are quite bugged, so they just re-spawn.
We walk on foot from an island to an island just to see how long does the trip last. We RPed a Chinatown restaurant.

The requests for weaponry are minimum.The weapons are completely free and can be obtained with a simple command.

Money is a necessary evil.

Mostly(admins) answer to silly questions like " When do scripts arrive", "how to speak in local chat" and etc...
We don't have IC/OOC RP whatsoever. The hell most of our players come from LS-R*.
Mostly, we have around 13-18 players online. Sometimes, even 25, but the point is, nobody reports anyone.When someone DMs around, the other players DM back and they just LOL at the end of the day saying "ownage" and discussing which weapon is better and efficient.
We jump in a helicopter and fly to a high distant building in Broker and we just jump off. When you die you loose 15,000. No one cares for loosing that sum.At Fridays, I am mostly alone with 15+ players and no one gives me a hard time.

SA:MP is another story .... pure polarization of IV:MP.
We shall see what will IV:MP become when the player count rises.

Yes you will be called a dmer and personally banned by me if I will see it, as it has nothing to do with what I was writing... Do not be scared to face dmers and to be a dmer yourself - different things...

And about weapons... No you are wRONg, in the first version players spawned only with knives/baseball bats/etc...

You are wRONg as well, as money is not the reason of people moaning...
Argonath Old had the one feature stable - money - and none was moaning at all...

Moaning started with arriving people from other "srs rp" servers...

wRONg as well... When there were 10 admins online and more - there were more moans about admins...
To the note: some admins retired cos could not handle anymore the shit at their address...

Another note: when there is only Aragorn online (happened several days after my inactivity) - the server was calm and nice... So its a question not on amount of admins but of players attitude...

I already warned some years ago the MTA:SA admins team not to start comparing themselves with sa:mp server and its administration... So that better you drop... It can make me pissed off, honestly...

As about IV:MP - are you kidding? I was on IV:MP several days and among 7 players on server two already were demanding admins... One - cos he was rammed, another - cos someone was shooting (yeah, even with that horrible sync)... Now lets just see in progression...

IV:MP: 7 players - 2 moaners...
SA:MP: 140 players - 40 moaners...

Feel the difference...

When there were Stracci and Montana only on server - they were f**king burning dmingers asses and nobody cried to admins, and admins were busy removing cheaters and teaching new players...
And those times Argonath had even number 3 on sa:mp lists...

Seriously!? When anyone else does that now a days, they get frowned on and bitched at just because they didn't stand still and go "DMING ISNT ALLOWED DMING ISNT ALLOWED DMING ISNT ALLOWED" 10000 times to a non-English speaking random DMer who didn't give two flying fucks if he got banned or not.
