not all IC/OOC is used for flaming. There is IC/OOC thats for saying something that should be known to the other person to avoid confusion. i.e. /me says Tell me who your working for! Player2 says: (OOC: I'm knocked out, try to wake me up first). Otherwise I would think he isn't talking, and shoot him. Of course he could use /me is knocked out, but its virtually meaning the same thing so could be either way.

I meant slang vocabulary, as in terms.

Player might get offended by that. ( Player that cares about e-achievements )
So better give a player a heads up and ask.

Apart from that the "I am knocked out" could be seen as powergaming if you follow serious rules, there is not a single reason why someone whould be confused by that sentence.
Unless you try to say you are knocked out in real life, in which case you could not type.

Slang dictionary in this situation is everything you use that is not standard English.
If both of the RP parties agree on this kind of RP I see no evil.
Why? There won't be /report, public chat moan, "Lazy admins, do something, look at my report!!!!" and/or "OMG stop flaming me".

That however does not explain the need for using any kind of indication that you are not knocked out in real life but as character, which is as people try to convince is the reason for IC/OOC.
Regardless if you say /me is knocked out, /l I am still knocked out, /pm I am knocked out or /l (((((( I am knocked out you NOOB RPER)))))) there is one single message you give that should be clear in any way you convey it.

Well, judging by the ESRB notice, most of the people who get offended by this should'nt be buying/getting this game at the first place. If I remember correct, there are correct pictures on the GTA:SA Box, showing about usage of drugs, swearing and sexual content.
