Ok heres a few random ideas we can discuss.

Jewel Store Robberies
Very much like the bank robbery script, however there are some differences. Firstly Jewel shops can be robbed anytime. The robbery works in the same way as the bank robbery, where the robber(s) will have to stay alive inside the store for 5 minutes. If  successful he will have to evade cops (Again like bank robberys) for a lengthy bit of time. Reward could be around 1k-5k

Junk Yard findings
A player will be able to search for stuff at the Junk Yard. Simply goto the Junkyard and type < /c searchjunk >. Findings could be something like "You have found an old python" "You have found a whisky bottle still intact" "You have found some LSD pills" "You have found some jewels" and the jewels can be sold at jewel stores like the smuggle script. Also, if a player uses the searchjunk command too much, the script changes his clothes to the hobo skin :P

Debit card
Basically allows a player to buy stuff from stores from the money in their bank account instead of their pocket. Could be handy if your low on cash and can't be asked to drive to the bank and back. Command could be something like < /c debitwep > instead of < /c buywep> The wep is just an example.

Good thing that it could be robbed anytime. But jewerly shops are small, so staying alive inside can be really hard. I would think about shorten the time to 3 minutes down there. And running away when successful should be rather a quickie too. Reward 2,5k-3k.

About Junk Yard findings - smuggling provides the goods you mentioned. Nobody would go on junkies just for old pythons or little grams of weed. I would suggest hiding some powerful weapons there as it is close to Phil's Place (some of his weps were took by mistake to the trash yard, Phil didn't realize).

I don't really like robbing as I always fail in it.  :(  :lol:

Yeah, I like this. Maybe we could find a condom sometimes too..

When you rob in there it can be abused, for example you never know when the hidden agent JayL takes out the flamethrower and kills you.. :D

True the interior is small, however we don't want it being too easy. This is because it will be possible anytime.

Smuggling is not possible anytime, this could be a quick alternative.

If the idea should be implemented, then the script should make a check if there are atleast 5 cops in servers.
Otherwise it will be like money cheat.

But even then scripts check it, maybe cops leave their jobs in between the rob.
So scripts should check if atleast 1 admin is online.

Also i found bugs in VCMP timers(maybe, i am not sure). I noticed bank rob timers with smuggle 20 min timers produce some ill effects and lag in scripts. The less we use timers, more better(atleast in pawn scripting that we are using).

Junkyard:
I think, giving free weps/money is not required. I think all players gonna be stay there are do /c searchjunk all the time.
(and who uses condoms found in junk, damn!!! eh denlow...    :poke:)

Debit card idea is nice :) I dont got it in rl, atleast can use it in argo  :devroll:

People can get free money by simply jailing. Do we need an admin present for players to jail? No. So why would we need an admin for robbing? We have admins online the majority of the time + trustful regulars who report money cheaters. We would catch any money cheaters just like we have always done so.

There are no huge rewards by searching junk. It's not like you find expensive stuff in a junkyard. This idea is to simply help newbies at the starting point, where they have no money and are basicaly hobos.

Nice ideas Klaus.

I think having some form of a debit card system would be really convenient, and the server could do with something like that. :)

I think it's things like these that will really build an awesome server. They may not be grandscale projects, but they all add to the game experience.

I don't like the debit stuff cause i like to rob people at the bank...
and two i like the fact about the smuggleing stuff..but only for jewelery but not so much on the weapons=/
finally i think u should find weapons in the junk yard.BuT IN ORDER for finding weapons have soem impact u should be  able to buy  just amo if u have a gun...
