Cash does not mean you will have more, using your cash and having fun with it with other people creates fun for them... so in essence as long as you are having fun your cash only influences it.

Long ago when there was much less money going around, players organised events where those taking part had to pay an entry fee. Prizes and staff were paid from the entry fee, with the owner earning a little from the remaining money.
Lets see how many people will arrive now if they have to pay to take part...

If you want to participate in a DD at LV stadium: 1k entry fee. And the one organizing the DD gets 20 percent of it and 80 percent goes to the winning prize! SIMPLE!

And you thught (or someone else) Hmm,lets increase the Value of buildings then players will have much less money and will roleplay without money.
WRONG - Result:Many buildings unowned and abandend,players holding money to them selfs and not spending it in order to get more for the buildings.Money is not going araund,economy is falling.

Intrinsic and extrinsic values are colliding factors in this community. Intrinsic values are underpinned and driven by interest and enjoyment. An example would be to create a fighting event where financial attributes are not the core incentive but rather replaced with provoking scenarios which reward a player through intrinsic means. In contrast, extrinsic values relate to entities which are driven by financial or equivalent rewards. Competition is a large scale driving factor in this and is demonstrated through various scenarios. For example, criminal A wants to become more powerful then criminal B. In order to do this, he must fund his growing arsenal of members and weapons through sustainable cash flow.

The community spans across the world ranging from America to Japan. One can only expect there to be differing views, cultural barriers and misinterpretation. For example, in China the colour red signifies prosperity whilst in the UK represents negativity due to its association with debt. Intrinsic and extrinsic values are healthy as they both lead to the same happy path scenario where we can work together to create one vision, sense of direction and ultimately a global understanding.
