First learn what DONATIONS mean... On other servers you do buy car for real life money, and that is not a donation... Now THAT is a BS...

  Whoa dude I meant no disrespect, dont get all upset. And yes, on other servers I have bought lots of cars and houses with real life money. Some people donate shit tons of money every week. All I was saying was there is simply no true motivation for people to donate here, and if maybe there were some kind of in game reward, even if it was small... people would be more inclined to donate.
   
  Im not sure exactly what currency you are using but we will use USD for example, for every 10$ USD donated, you get 50k IG cash. Thats really not alot for the money, but people with money would be willing to donate 100$ USD just to get 500k... constantly. If 10 players did this (which they would, and fast ) thats $1000 for the server. This would make the server lots of money considering the enormous base of players. I didnt mean to offend, just was suggesting a small reward.

  I also realize this may breach the Argonath Vision as Gandalf has posted in the sense that all players are to be treated equally and none have any kind of status over another... but its not really any kind of status being given. Its simply a "thank you" and not asking for special treatment.

Argonath does not offer privileges against payment. The equal status prohibits any possibility of payment for extra possibilities, rights or money in game.

But any way, if you want something in return for your money, you will get something, the satisfaction that you have helped a community stay alive.

Argonath has never given any form of reward for donations and it never will, but donations and advertisements are what keeps the community alive.

Right only OUR server is running on donations... All others do sell ingame stuff which means in commercial purposes... Probably they use word "donations" not to attract people's attention that they actually do sell an air... And people can get the same stuff for free on other servers...

Yeah I was writing it but decided to remove... Cos then I had to explain that if servers will be reported to tax office they will have to pay taxes anyways, does not matter how do they call their income - donations or not...
