Gandalf.. not lots of player of the brazil.. just 1-2 .. rarely brazilians play here following all rules..
err about the pingkicker i do not approve it..if a player reaches certain ping for 1 second hes kicked..
that's bad..

600? sometimes my ping jumps to it :s

Guys...I have a usually high ping of around 150-200 as I am on a wi fi connection and live in the USA...I like the server as it is. I don't think many people care about people with high ping, I don't usually hear ne1 complain...besides, this isn't punkbuster :P

Indeed, above 500/600 Ping is the problem area I am especially pointing on, what is not normal for a online game. As Schfifty noted it isn't impossible to play with a decent ping if you are in America (And he is running on Wlan to). Someone out of Europe cant tell me its not possible to have a decent because of the route to the server. Saying its not fair or not appropriate to kick high pingers is way out of order. If you want to play, you need to invest. I cant run GTA SA on a 10 year old computer, its no excuse for having a FPS of 10000000000000000000 ( Well I think it wont install at all ).
Like I have to pay for a good computer with expensive stuff when I want to play online, I also have to get a connection that is able to handle the traffic needed for it. Saying it's not fair doesn't fits in this idea. If my car doesn't pass the safety tests anymore because it has all kinds of problems, and doesn't reach the speedlimit by 30% do you really think I wont get pulled of the road?
I can say its not fair because I have the same rights as others to enter the road, only because there car is able to handle the road and mine not?
C'mon, its the same as Online gaming, if Samp would have been Rockstar official it would have Pingkick Big time (like Punkbuster).
Its not for fun that official online games spend money for the Punkbuster system or for any ping monitoring script.
In Pingkick scripts Ping peaks usually doesn't cause auto kick, they might give a warning, and only kick when a player keeps high pinging.
As for the online gaming, you need to invest, just like I have to invest Big time in a proper car to be allowed on the road.

maybe some players has high ping because they download from  internet and this is very bad because they lag the server
I think the autokick may be at 600

I know he diddnt respond to my /pm in game he had a constant ping of about 1100

Maybe sickness can write a guide for people that experience this , althoug more than once its because people are downloading while playing and thats fixed easily

Most off the time high ping has alot of sources. But downloading (porn) is indeed one of them.

Did a search on my name and wasnt surprised to see my name in this topic.

I have a high end computer and live in remote Australia, the reason for my high ping is because i am using sattelite broadband (this service doesnt deserve the name broadband and i am considering a claim for false advertising) and ADSL is not an option for me, and probably wont be for a long time, i live in a town of 150peeps.

I have been told that there is a minimum ping of 600ms which is the time it takes to get from my computer to the satteliite back to the gate in sydney and back agian, the rest is from sydney to the server and back.

Imagine my disgust when i found that dialup has a lower ping (500-600ms) than sattelite broadband. (1000-1400ms)
but i have issues with lost connections on dialup but very rarley on Sattelite.

I am a long time user of online games and am aware of ping issues, but the way samp works is that you see on your screen real time and everybody else is seen based on there ping, eg. if i'm on your screen with a ping of 1000ms your seeing me where i was 1second ago. so if you wanted to shoot me (with a ping of 1000ms) you would have to guess where i was in about 1 second.

My lag wont effect your game on samp other than seeing me where i was 1000ms ago.

I am aware of being hard to shoot with my ping and try not to exploit this by taking on such roleplay that doesnt involve fighting, (thats why you dont see me in fight clubs).

But please try and understand that i see everyone where they were 1000ms ago, therefor, making it almost impossible for me to shoot you, unless you are standing still or walking in a straight line towards, or from me.

As long as people understand that your seeing others where they were according to there lag and dont exploit the lag issue, i dont see a reason for a ping kick script.

And i am trying to have ISDN install Fri 17th Aug so my ping should decrease to a tollerable level.

Sonny, sometimes when i connect i get a ping of about 64k (64545ms), but after i have connected it settles back to where i usally ping, not sure why that is. but i have a fair idea. (looks at his Sattelite Dish), hmmmm...

well Sgt Suicidal  i didnt realise your in the 'Bush' lol !i didnt think of satelite ...its not that i have a problem with you lagging its only that people with high pings make the SERVER lag one or two isnt an issue but if there are a lot .well as it isnt your foult i can live with it, i have problems with people that have a UNnesescary high ping
i actualy find it cool your in such an isolated part of the world and still play online ...

and you almost never fight so np ..
