Technically and from a logical perspective, the only difference that manifests its presence in your analogy is the existence of the external program, which happens to be a prerequisite for the usage of hack programs.

Through observation of the concept though, an observer can note as well that both scenarios happen to offer the user a form of advantage. Another concrete example of the advantage logic would be what we know as the MTB-Bunnyhop Glitch, abuse of which is punishable by bans.

The cbug, if you haven't noticed, happens to be a bug or glitch that offers an advantage over others in the same manner as the MTB Glitch. Unlike the MTB Glitch though, all advantages from this result in the expense of other players, whereas the MTB Glitch can be used for solo purposes such as stunting in free time, while the cbug involves shooting at other players (weapons).

It's not only a glitch / bug, it's even worse than the MTB glitch.

It's also known as crouch bug... But GTA:SA has a lot of bugs, for example the button tapping, also you swim faster when you have a bad framerate. There are also some places/objects you jump on and die imminently. And you can always use them to gain advantage. Also, you can't jump out of the car in the right speed. My point is that there are a lot of game bugs. And that's not our fault. Or server's fault, or script's fault. I just don't understand how can a game bug be punishable.

If you change depth bias via console command in some game (was HL1 or HL2, dun remember) you could see models through walls. So because it's not done via external program/file, it's not a cheat?

Not punishing for a bug happening to you, but punishing for aware using and exploiting the bug to your advantage.

It shouldnt be bannable because some admins clearly cannot tell the difference whats a cbug and whats not, and people are getting banned for wrong reasons. Im in fact not talking only about Daniel. Did you guys read kirbys unban? Rofl, its not even possible to cbug with combat shotgun, and thats what, as daniel pointed out in the videos he posted, was kirbys ban reason. Why no one has ever gotten banned for it before this topic was made? Just lol.
