Show your references, where'd you find that bs?

Oh, I don't know. Maybe some common sense and from experience with i3 and i5 core processors?
One thing you must learn about the world of hardware and software. You never believe what the manufacturer tells you.

This will run GTA, Its got an i3 and 4 gig of ram...Mines an AMD Athlon 64 and I got 2 gig of ram....I can run GTA, CS:S and a load other games with ease.
RAM does not compensate for a good for nothing simpleton processor. It may have alot of power, but it is across one core.

As you can see from the image, even my current out-of-date-by-two-three-years Core 2 Quad ranks higher than the i3, and it is a hell of alot cheaper too.

And please state in your head that its a f**king present. I can't go asking them for an Alienware 1337 pc which costs OVER 1000 euros..
C'mon.. Don't expect me to buy a PC from 1000 euros..

Alienware is overpriced trash owned by Dell. You can easily build a better PC by buying seperate parts for more than half of the price of an Alienware PC.
You can even get the system pre-built for you depending from where you buy the parts from. My current system was pre-built with just the case, the motherboard, processor, disk drives and hard disk drive. I added in a brand new GTX275 a year or so ago along with a new Asus sound card and it was cheaper than anything that could compare to it from a store.

I don't need a desktop that plays Mafia II on extreme graphics, Just Cause 2 on extreme graphics, GTA IV on extreme graphics, or even FSX on extreme graphics.
I am not an extreme gamer..

I dont see why you you all think you need a custom built PC to play games, or is a status thing now?

My PC is a business PC, it has an ATI Graphics card and thats it, It runs games and films and things like with easy, you don't need fancy custom builds for games.

As for Snyper, he's playing GTA SA, You can run that on a Celron 3... People play GTA on Net books...This PC is more than good enough for GTA.

If Snyper is only playing GTA SA, he could still get those components for no more than 300e.. so why paying almost 600e for it?
And you don't need to get a 1000e PC or an Alienware to play even Mafia 2 on extreme, the setup I posted on previous page does that just fine - for less than that poopbox you posted on first post. :D

Well, it seems to be almost equal good, but you could still have the same for cheaper price or buy a better setup for same price.
Your call.

It looks good, I can only notice one problem and that is your graphics card. You should look for something above 512MB such as 1GB or even 2GB for the best gaming performance. Now building your own PC saves a lot of money and you'll get what you want.  And to reply to previous posts, Yes you can run GTA SA with this system that he is suggesting. The minimum requirements for GTA SA to work is 1 GHz CPU, 256 MB of RAM, graphics card with 64 MB RAM and 3.6 GB of free space on the hard disk  ;)

Guys, give up. Some people just don't have any brain cells.

You too. The I3 isn't a bad CPU, at all, for the price it's offered at. When you start clocking, pretty much ANY Core 2 Quad will fall behind because of structural limitations and heat.
