Just Writing to inform you of the Sky Eagles Role in The USAA. We are currently Airborne Recon as we currently have no access to the Weapon Equipped Planes.
We deal with Situations in which sending in a team without information is too dangerous, flying overhead, taking pictures from a camera as we go, and recording using a state of the art Video Camera Based in the nose of all our Machines. This enables us to Stream Live footage Wirelessly from our aircraft to a portable player, and our aircraft used are also equipped with Radios with which we are able to contact Ground and Report Odd/Strange Activity.
We, to my knowledge, do not perform anything other than Recon, although we COULD assist in the dropping of troops, ammunition and parcels if need be.
We would like to inform you that we are able to perform these tasks effectively, and efficiently, we currently have no loss of life, although some of our pilots have suffered casualties in training.
