As Pazienza says, you will be considered a complete and utter moron if you're seen by someone (who knows anything about bikes) in public, if you buy something like a Aprilia RS50.

All of the "made-to-go-fast" mopeds suck. Seriously, you are a hundred times cooler on a moped. The only one that looks remotely decent is the Aprilia RS50 (new one which you cannot afford with your budget), but I'm afraid the engine sounds pretty much like a wasp/fly (no matter what exhaust system you put on it).

Try going for something classical, maybe a 50cc Vespa?
