General Information
A stock car, in the original sense of the term, described an automobile that has not been modified from its original factory configuration. Later the term stock car came to mean any production-based automobile used in racing. This term is used to differentiate such a car from a race car, a special, custom-built car designed only for racing purposes.
AAAR Stock Car Races take place on Saturdays at 2200 CET (4:00PM EST). The track is open 2 hours before the race for qualification and practice laps. One hour before each race there is a meeting for all the drivers and the event staff. Failure to arrive at this meeting will result in a penalty (see rules and regulations).
All competing drivers must be on a registered team, each team can consist of one to three drivers. To register your team please see the "Teams" section.
Points are awarded depending on the place in which you finish. Prizes are handed out at the end of each race to the top three racers and the points for your team are added up. At the end of the season the team with the most points will win the grand prize and the seasons trophy. Points are counted as follows.

Rules and Regulations
The only vehicle allowed is the Hotring, this includes the Hotring A and Hotring B models. This vehicle is buy-able at the Autobahn East car dealership in Las Venturas. Please note that the color of your vehicles must be standardized for your team. If a team already has a color combination, no other team may use that same color. The three Hotring models have the same specifications, so a team may use whichever models they wish.
Qualification Laps:In general, the starting order for races is determined by the best qualifying time. All cars are brought into the pits, and one at a time they are allowed to enter the track and accelerate to race speed for a two lap qualifying run. Qualification begins as the car crosses the finish line for the first time, and the best single lap time is used as the qualifying time. The order in which the teams qualify is determined by a random draw.
Race Start:the command "Gentlemen, start your engines" is given by grand marshal of the race. After at least three warm-up laps behind the pace car, all races begin with a rolling start.
Race Information:Each race consists of 35 laps. During the race, if your vehicle is destroyed you are automatically out of the race and must take a seat with your pit crew on the sidelines. All racers must be in CB 999 during the race so that flags can be displayed using the /announce command. If your vehicle becomes to damaged and risks exploding (Dark Black Smoke), you will be removed from the race when the black flag is used against you. The flags used during the race are as follows.
 | The green flag indicates that the race has started or restarted. |
 | The yellow flag or caution flag indicates a hazard on the track, most often an accident. |
 | The red flag indicates that the race has been halted. This may happen due to a large accident. All cars must slow down and follow behind the pace car, passing is not allowed during a red flag. |
 | The checkered flag indicates that a race or qualifying is over. |
 | The black flag indicates that a driver is being penalized. This may be due to a rules infraction by the driver or pit crew, or if a vehicle has sufficient mechanical damage that it is a hazard to other drivers. |
Teams
You must register your team before you can participate. To register your team post your team name, team colors, a picture of on of your vehicles, your drivers (Max of 3). All teams are given a pit area outside the arena in the parking lot. It will be marked on the map below once assigned.
