You know what I never understood? I mean, yeah sure. Help new players and all that, which is fine to a certain extent.

But basically what you're saying here is that freecops are the scum of Argonath. Without enough brain to think for themselves and learn things the way it should be. That seems to be the general attitude people have. "Oh, teach the freecops they don't know any better". This is exactly why the Police should be TRAINED POLICE ONLY. The cop has a responsiblity to the server, he must act correctly and prove himself worthy of the position he has. Freecops can do whatever the f**k they want with minimal punishment.

Why do we support weak minded individuals? They have no perserverance to adhere to the rules and learn the server without having every rule and regulation shoved down their throat every time they make a stupid mistake. You don't see the main admins handing out moderator to everyone just because they "Wan 2 be admin l0l". There should at least be a one week lock enforced on the player before you hand him guns, give him the right to suspect and fine people, and let him loose on the population.

Back in the day (inb4 z0mg these times are different) regular players on cop duty used to help out new players, and new players that got help also helped new players in return. Everyone was equal on cop duty and most people were friendly towards each other.

Now - there is SAPD (them z0mgz pr0 cops) and ARPD officers (the new guys). SAPD keeps playing only in their own circle, because they're too good to play with new guys. While the new guys are left without any actual help. Only "help" new guys get is a "/jobcop" served with a there, now leave me alone noob attitude - which does not EVEN MENTION that cop work has regulations. Then everyone's z0mg surprised that new cops are "z0mg abusers moneyhungry" and don't follow rules. YOU know the rules, new guys - not necessarily.

When I ask a regular that's moaning about "z0mg abusers", has he even helped any new cop recently - it's always same excuse "they never listen to me". Well, if people think "leave me alone z0mg abuser" is teaching - you're wRONg.

btw, a word filter changing the F*** word to "z0mg" would be fun.

What you may not have realized is that actually, I was holding a mirror up to your mentality of constantly guiding them. My original point, to those of you who can't seem to follow me, is that new players need time on the server and their own brain to learn anything, we can "teach" them whatever we want.

I kindly suggest you to not generalize everyone in the SAPD... not only is it rude an untrue but it's also something I would never have expected Grz to say. Show to me it's a problem.. I'd be more than happy to help.

If you have suggestions for me to help get an LSPD division to help more freecops or even simply encourage I'd be more than happy to.. but I never knew it was this bad of a problem. I know that all my officers in LSPD often patrol with freecops when not on SWAT duties or something of the sort.

Some 'freecops' are BETTER than Officers. It's the fact.. I also admit there are freecops better than me.

Instead of just "ZOMG LIGHT BLUE, UTURN!" or "Fuck this, copban id [] abuse !!" Just teach them how to be good. If they just shoot you till you die, then you know what to do as a REGULAR.. Act mature and move on. You taught them how to be good, they ignored and killed you. So the best thing to do is to maintain your rage level and just be mature.. Understand the freecops and move on.

Not more generalizing than saying "freecops are abusers" all the time, which also implies everyone that has the rank "ARPD officer" is an abuser.

This also includes any form of "requesting SAPD officer for investigation", implying ARPD officers cannot do it right.

If SAPD would really care about roleplay instead of hunting orange dots, they would create a desk and jail staff. Desk staff would be there to receive complaints and reports from citizens, and to help ARPD officers find their way around the station, explaining them the work.
Jail staff could prevent stealing of suspects, investigate crimes and maybe even take over jailing, sending the reward to the officer who made the arrest.

However it seems that SAPD is, like the ARPD frecops, only interested in hunting and suspecting.

The airport police division is what im trying to set up with LSPD, its main focus is teaching new players how to do police RP and encourage other players to RP with them in a learning environment. The Airport is like a Small city so it makes a great training environment. However this desk staff division is a good idea, however the incentive to get people to do it is what we need to figure out.

This is what DPD do,

- Entering/ storming building with style - such as charging through the door, shooting/ kicking/ headbutting and failing to enter a door with all the above using /me
- Country style weapon use (inc animations such as /bar 1, gunpoint 1, and weapons used such as country rifle, alternative melee...)
- General attitude towards civilians - Encouragement of saying a friendly howdy to all civilian passers by and asking if any problems.
- RP punishments (involve cancelsuspect before or after so crim does not lose cash)
   - Community Service (cleaning up the bloodstains, towtruck work, picking litter etc, or forcing them to patrol with you)
   - Exile - Abandon in a remote area to reflect on what they done
   - Execution - For very very bad criminals. Using cancelsuspect so they do not lose weapons/ cash. Costs you money but sometimes worth it.
   - Deportation - Throwing in the sea telling them to swim to Country of your choice (drop out of heli near east beach usually).
   - Human shield for yourself, tape them to your vehicle or just make them walk around you.
   - For possible drug dealers/ addicts - Public viewing of a cavity search using engine oil and gardening gloves.

Some of these ideas might conflict with some players but they do work as long as criminal is willing to RP - by no means is this regular practice

There was always through ages this...hate against cops...Even in real life. But take a closer look at your fingers...Are they all the same? No!I  want to make you understand that cops aren't all the same..I believe yes maybe SOME of them maybe like 'Lemme kill him to get some money' but no they aren't all the same! Act properly to them then you get a good solution...
