MTASA freezes on connect + No connection to Argonath

Well, have had a problem for long time, now other problem also occured, so it is time to post it, as I wanna play MTASA also.
When I try to connect any MTASA server, then the popup saying "Connecting to [ip]:[port]...." comes up, but then MTASA freezes - mouse doesn't move, cancel doesn't work, nothing. I have to close gta_sa.exe. Happens with all servers(haven't tried all, but I think so).
Other problem, which I have had for a long time, is that I have no connection to Argonath RPG MTASA server. This was already in October/November. I added both servers(main and new test server) to Favourites. None of these show any info - no ping, no players info, no gamemode info. Although, other servers worked fine before other problem occured.

Sure you don't connect to the wrong server? There is two Argonath servers up at the moment. You will have to use the test server.

Tried both, IP is correct, port is correct.
I get no information in Favourites, that means something is wrong and it is not my firewall.

Yes, installed 30 mins ago, right before posting this topic.
Although, the server info is now shown in Favourites(idk how that happened), I am still unable to connect, as it freezes during connecting.

Ctrl+Alt+Delete then just go to processes and right click on gta_sa.exe and set priority to high.

Then Go to the browse servers and the "Favorites" tab. Then there will be an option to add favorites by ip. Add the IP. You will most likely just see the server ip and port. Dont worry, youll still be able to enter it. Just click on it, type the password, then click on the ip and connect

If you have modded files such as eax.dll, vorbis.dll or vorbisfile.dll in your GTA folder, it may cause it.
Any mods you have done, which are apart from .txd or .dff will cause this.

Install a fresh GTA and try. I had the same problem, went off ever since I installed it fresh.

I have 3 SA's installed, one for SAMP with some visual mods, other for SP with more mods and last is totally clean, when will be my backup.
And MTASA is currently installed to the backup one. If I find my disc, I will reinstall it.

Okay, delete all previous server files in MTA.. (idk how to do that)
and try connecting again.. I read somewhere that it helps..

Okay try going into gta san andreas user files and delte gta_sa.set. if that doesnt help, then restore it from the recycle bin and place it back into users file folder

I was able to connect to MTASA now, after removing gta_sa.set file.
It is working, thank you.
Can be locked.
