I'll make it simple-pimple. If you need me to elaborate, tell me.

-I load Single-Player
-Works just fine, no crashes, none
-I load up SA:MP
-I join any server
-Crash (first it was a C++ Runtime Error, some shit about OMG HAD TO TERMINATE PROGAM IN UNUSUAL WAY, then it started spitting me SAMP HAS CRASHED OMG ERROR REPORT HERES THE DETAILS A BUNCH OF HEX)

What I've tried:
-COMPLETE reinstalling of GTA SA AND SAMP (did both all at once, uninstalled GTA without uninstalling SAMP, then uninstalled GTA without uninstalling SAMP)
-Deletion of gta whatever.set
-Running as administrator/compatibility mode
-Cussing out my computer
-Windows Update
-Google
-Redownloading SA:MP installer from the website and reinstalling

I hope this will be of importance too:
The Runtime BS error (did tons of deep searches, failed)
Code: [Select]
Runtime Error!

Program: you already fucking know/gta_sa.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

The SAMP crash
I'll get the details when it starts occurring again...

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium
GTA SA Version: 1.0
Mods: None
SA:MP Version: 0.3c

Hello.

Try renaming your San Andreas directory to something else.

Did not work.

After doing even more in depth searches (boy, that was fun...), it has something to do with user accounts... I'll make a new account and post my results later.

When you unistalled and reinstalled, did you delete the Grand theft auto San andreas folder?
When you reinstall, im pretty sure the gta_sa.exe reinstalled and nothing much else.
So uninstall it first. delete your WHOLE san andreas folder. Run CCleaner to fix the unused file extensions, and install again. Did you install anything on it recently? ENB, mods, cleo?

You've said you've used compatibility mode, but as you haven't said which modes you tested, make sure you go through all of them. I've had problems like this before and it was fixed by using the Windows Server compatibility mode.

If that doesn't work, download Revo Uninstaller. It's freeware (if you use the free version) that will uninstall GTA SA and all traces of it too, including registry files, hidden files, etc.
Re-install GTA SA and then install SA:MP.

Let us know how you get on.

Do you run SA:MP as an Administrator (win7)?

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

I think I got the same problem, just try to alt+tab and you'll notice the starting bar pops up for only 1 second or less. Just rape ALT+TAB and try to select it with RMB and try to close it down. You'll need to rape ALT+TAB again and you'll see a window popping up for also 1 second or less where you can end the program now or cancel the shutdown.
If you press "end now" (or whatever it is in your language) it'll just shut down and when you connect then it must work fine.

I wanna be rich, help me

I did the following before anyone recommended me doing it:
Re-Install DirectX
http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/7/1/1718CCC4-6315-4D8E-9543-8E28A4E18C4C/dxwebsetup.exe
Try Documents - GTA SA User Files - Delete gta_sa.

Hope it works  :)

(btw tried all modes)

Nothing has worked other than making a new user account. Now it's going to be a pain in the ass to move my countless music files and other crap to the new GTA User Files crap.

owait i can just hex edit the gta_sa.exe and make the current directory the one it uses
