How complicated is that to understand, when I send an email I will need to wait for admin anyway? Very often cause of my time zone I see no admins online, and no I don't think they are enuff admins, I only see admins on hours like 18-24 (+1 GMT) and yes I do know they are busy with their lifes and all, but I don't give a ****, vote kick would be good for situations when they are no admins.

If you didn't try to play in hours like 14-17 then u sir have no idea what's going on by then, it's like massive haul of DMers as I said. And they are trolling, they do know english, they just laugh at you when you get killed and respawn as cops even after kick.

If votekick was useless, then it would not be implemented in so many multiplayers. Simple as that

Just pausing to think for a second - let's just compare Argonath to the other servers on VC:MP. I've visited a serious amount of them over the years, and I think we will have to agree that Argonath's A-Team is by far the most effective.

For instance, if someone asked me the question; "where can I find a hacker on VC:MP", I'd easily be able to direct them to a server (not that I would  :trust:) that 9.9/10 times will have some hacker enjoying himself.

When I am not doing tests etc. in real life, I am on quite a lot (even at odd times like 4 am). Marcell, if you have a direct problem to address then feel free to PM me on this forum. I'm usually on a fair bit here, so hopefully I can respond if no one else can (no gurantee I will always be there, but I don't mind).

If a whole server full of regulars can get abused by a few rulebreakers, then voting systems probably would as well.
As for Admin/Mod recruitment - thing is, the majority of the players post there pretty much immediately after they find the forums and that topic. And recruitment isn't necessarily based on how long ago you applied for the role etc.

I agree only with some parts of this idea.

I know calling an admin from MSN or sending screenies on an email is not very practical.
Something like an instant solution is needed on the server.

Also a lots of players act stupid when no admins are online.
But as soon as admin comes, they would start acting like a decent player.
That is very clearly evidnt from the server chat logs.

But here's the problem,
many players can not judge situations very well.
Those who can are promoted to mod asap.

Example, Admins get a lots of reports accusing a person for HP hax.
Most of those reports are false.
We cant expect players to verify HP hax very effectively.
Same goes with speed hack, tele hack, weapon hack.
Not all regulars have good information of VCMP de-sync and bug issues.

Also...as we have seen from various topics. Player's view of RP can vary.
So a kick for "DMing" might be biased. Players should not be given the right to judge a situation as RP or DM.

I agree that this idea will do good in 80% of the cases.
But we cant risk the rest 20%..

Yea, I agree on aXXo, and I kinda disagree with this, because those 20 % may be long and you can be fucked if you're hated by a good bunch of people, they'll screw you up, even when you're really RP'ing and they think you're DMing, they vote kick you as soon as possible, and rage after rage, the server won't get enough players, and those who play will get mad.

Because most of the time there's someone online with moderator or admin rights, how about making this script working only when they're no players with them? It would change aXXo's 20% to something like 5-10%, which not sounds bad at all.

We have the command /c admins and it manages to check if any admins are online or not, so yes, its possible.
