i do all  updates and downloads but i open game in single player gta 4 resource usage 27mb i try join ıv:mp i see black screen please help me

I recommend making a commandline.txt on your GTAIV folder
and place some of these lines

Does it give any errors?
Try to check the task manager and see if it's running as a process.

Fixed it, downloaded some xfiles and it worked

What files and what was your game doing? I have a similar issue, and using XLiveless and the like didn't help.

Try if your ivmp is getting you a black screen, try setting the compabilty to xp service pack 3. The xfiles and service pack is what did it for.

Damn. Ya, unfortunately that didn't work for me. My GTA IV was already working, but IV:MP itself was what was failing. :(

Go to the panel and uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistribuitable then launch the first disc of GTA IV and navigate through the folders D:\GTAIV\Redistributable and install vcredist_x86.

Make sure to install patch 1.0.7.0 tho.
