Yeah so in IV:MP When i turn the camera all the textures take forever to load and when im driving the road and buildings dont appear (Sometimes not at all)
Not using any mods.

But when i play the normal single player all the textures and models load instantly
And lowering the settings doesnt help

Sorry to be a bitch but theres no such processor as the C2D E8920 and there are hundreds of Ati Radeon graphics cards. :D

if youre driving faster than the texctures load, then its a problem with your hard drive speed, usable RAM, usable GPU power, or usable CPU power. or its all 4.

best way to fix that is to drop the view distance/generally lower all graphic settings a little bit.

Tried using any commandline parameter ? I suggest "-availablevidmem 5.0" without the brackets... and also, try switching down your resolution, you'll hardly feel a difference.

Im not driving faster than textures load. And if you read my OP i said that turning down settings to Low doesnt help.

And the dude saying. "turn down your resolution its bareley noticable"..
You think id use 1024x864 or something on a 22" monitor? Thats bullshit. I mean thanks for trying to help but dont give bad advice.

What does that command line do exactly?
Because after adding it, look at my Resources Available. Which was previously 495Mb

And Leon, I have the exact same graphics card, this is how I have my settings, seems to work perfectly fine.
And heres my commandline settings.
Code: [Select]
-memrestrict 314572800
-noprecache
-availablevidmem 5.0

That last line "-availablevidmem 5.0" is what Niko said, after adding it, for some reason I have a massive increase in Resources which before was 495MB like yours.

That doesnt even help man. 495 = The 512mb availible video memory on your graphics card.
All the command does is takes off the restriction on GTA IV so that you can overload your graphics card which is pretty bad.

Only reason your PC runs on higher settings is because 1440x900 has so many less pixels than 1680x1050

Your GPU and RAM is getting out-dated..processor might last fine for 1-2 years.

It does increase the resources.. although it doesn't increase performance, it kinda tricks your computer (or game) into thinking you have more memory than you do, worked for me when I had the same problem as Leon. (Note : I have Intel HD Graphics ((64MB)), and I made it go to about 360MB, which made the computer load more.) But, it's not the safest way, so if you're gonna use it, don't use more memory than what you initially had.

BTW, -memrestrict sometimes causes the problem that Leon has. And -noprecache... well noprecache is a charm :D

Clock your GPU and defragment the harddrive and you'll be fine.
