[Not Banned] Complaint/appeal/information request about recent ban.

Dear Sirs,

I would like to appeal the validity a ban and will state the details below.

Nickname: tBKwtWS
Date & time  of ban: 1-2-11, 15:05 CEST
Banned by: [WS]Fuzzy
Duration: 60 mins
Reason: Relogging to respawn my car.

I was advised by one of you crew members, MadMax, to relog if my car vanished in order to re-spawn it.
An hour later I lost my car so I relogged to find to my surprise that I was frozen.
I was asked why I relogged, so I answered honestly: "To respawn my car."
The most annoying think about this was, I did not get the time or chance to explain myself. I was banned a few seconds after answering.

What happened:
I was a suspect and being chased.
A cop came in the other direction and rammed me head on.
I flew though the window of my car and died.
I respawned @ the dukes PD to find my car was not in it's parking place.
So I relogged as instructed earlier.

I have read the rules on the forum before doing the passport test, but I do not remember a rule stating it is forbidden to relog in order to respawn your property. I did not even think about verifying if this is legal or not, because I was told to do so.

I hope you can clarify to me if I misunderstood MadMax, if I was misinformed by MadMax or if I was banned incorrectly.
I was unable to ask this as I was banned without conversation.
I would like to understand the rules to prevent further bannings. And to be able to properly report reloggers in the future, as I have not done so in the past. And I must mention a lot of people do so.

An unban topic is not required for a tempban, but as you have some questions ill answer them

As I see it, currently we have no system to help you find your car if it is gone, when a player asks me how to retrieve their car, I also tell them to relog.
Due to there being no command to get your car if it is gone, I personally allow relogging. I am thinking Fuzzy saw it as you relogging to get the car back from a player, perhaps he was driving it at the time you relogged the second time.

On our SA:MP Server it is punishable to relog to get your vehicle back, but due to us having no script at this current time I see it as not a problem to relog to get your car back.

From your reply I conclude that I was banned wrongfully, due to Fuzzy not granting me the time to explain myself. And due to the rules not being stated clearly.

I do not feel this is my problem or responsibility. Is it possible to get this stain off my permanent record?
And do I still have to wait an hour to play?

MadMax also advised me to relog in case my car is stolen, from your message I understand this is not allowed.
Can I please request clarity, I do not want to be banned again for something you tell me is legal.

I also tell them to relog.

Perhaps there should be a guideline for admins on this matter, because I feel like a victim of bad communication within the management of this community at the moment.

As I relogged at the moment after I died I doubt Fuzzy had the time to drive away in my car.

In addition, I do not understand the ban reason. It states script abuse.
Did I gain an unfair advantage by relogging? I think not, of cource I urge you to correct me if I am wrong.
The place I spawned after relogging was the same as the place I spawned after I died. So the cops just had to wait the 45 seconds it took me to relog and they still had to drive from the point where I died to my spawnpoint. Which would have granted me more then enough time to drive away in my car, had it been there.
