Title says it all.

Forum games consists of alot of 'spam' topics, which include spamming, counting, etc.
Now since these posts aren't really 'real posts' but just spamming, it will increase the postcount of someone drastically, making it look like they are regulars, while they joined 1 month ago.

So making the post count not go any higher by posting in forum games seems reasonable.

Actually, I also suggested in paruni forum to make a games board since it didn't have one, but the post count from that board should not count. So yes, I aggree with it.

Once someone sees this topic being supported, everyone will go posthunting as fast as they can in forum games until the postcount in the board is disabled

Well sure, why not.
I mean, I post there to have some fun, and discover what people think about me in different topics, not to raise my postcount.

Post count only shows, how much you have posted and nobody should decide, if player is veteran, new or regular by checking post count.

Exactly.

Though, it's obvious that the posts made in forum games won't be removed from the user's post history.

It will decrease posthunt.

Don't decrease their forum games posts, as they will start running around, saying 'OMFG U TOOK MY POSTS!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU'.

Something just came on my mind.If the post count in the forum games section gets removed, the posthunters, will expand to the other boards, post hunting there, which causes a total clusterfk.

Post count only shows, how much you have posted and nobody should decide, if player is veteran, new or regular by checking post count.
Not really, the forum ranks change if they player has been on the forums for a lot time, for an example, you become a Veteran, if you have been on the forum for at least 20 hours.
Exactly.

Of course.

Yea, but outside forum games, posthunters are easier to notice.

The current number of posthunters in other boards is currently minimum, but atleast there are some.So if we remove the postcount there, massive wave of posthunters will invade the other boards.

I don't know, I believe it's a good idea, let's see what the others think.

People will just start spamming other topics. And what does the post count matter?

Post-hunters feel the 'fame' once they reach a high level of posts, and think they know everything.

You should know something more than 60% of forum games users want just to hunt easy posts...If you remove post-counting from this section people will just go and troll in topics such as Argonath groups topics or any other sections.

I post in every topic, just because I like it. I think many others think the same. There are times I post a lot and sometimes I post like 1 time a week. I don't see the problem.
