its nice, but honestly if it were me ide build something completely different
but by the looks of things as long as your computer works it should run GTA IV, im not sure how well it would run it, but according to the games minimum requirements, it should run.

How do you mean "as long as your computer works". Cause I'm putting together a complete new one ;)

Oh like that, well, I selected a processor on a website and it gave a list with compatible videocards etcetera. But I'm thinking about getting a nVidia GeForce GT240 1GB (Damn I change minds fast). But would that be compatible?

ok 1st of all, ide have to say, youd be better off with keeping the other graphics card, and instead getting a better motherboard, something that supports DDR3 ram etc. ide recomend something by gigabyte, or asus, that way you have the capacity to upgrade different parts again without a complete remake, also make sure your powersupply can handle it, ive just got a 650 watt and its running 2 Graphics cards 3 HDD etc + all my LED's and Neons, and its working fine, so anything around that should work out, but yes, you would be better off upgrading the motherboard to something brilliant, and having all the rest shit, than having a nice graphics card and a shit motherboard, just because of the capacity of upgrading easier and faster.

hope ive helped

also, if you do insist on the Geforce GT240 its a good card, and i cant see why its not compatible,

For that/similar money try to find ATI 4670. Much better of all above. Also, that Phenom I Processor is way too old,try with something newer like Athlon II series or Phenom II,for example Athlon II X4 620/630/640 or Phenom II X2 550/555. Motherboard too dont worth of that money so i sugest something like MSI 770 C45 (DDR3 Support) or if you wanna stay on DDR2 - Gigabyte M720-US3 or Gigabyte MA770-UD3 / US3.

lol thats pretty much what i was saying, except the problem for him is, better motherboards cost more money but, the Ram is cheaper per GB for DDR3 rather than DDR2 so its easier to get more ram if u upgrade the motherboard to DDR3 Compatibility + it provides more room for upgrading other stuff

I spoke to MadBoi about this last night and he seemed to think I could run IV.

Anyway my specs are ..

Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3
RAM: 4GB
HDD: 400GB

Intel HD Graphics Media Accelerator -
Available Graphics Memory: 1755MB
Dedicated Vid Memory: 128MB
Shared System Mem: 1627MB

I am on a Laptop.

Heard that IV:MP doesn't support Intel HD ... sucks if this is true  :(

REPLICA.
