Accutally, I think that mods can make the car uniqe, and not just be as the reguler random cars.

I mean, I have a fully tuneable BMW mod for the elegy, and I think that taking pics with it will it make it very uniqe.

Good point, However at some point (like the finals) I assist the finalists getting footage. This ends up in 2 different cars then.

Well maybe if you could temporary install the mods, then I bet the car possibily number will be much, much wider and will sure be alot interesting contest.

Also the spectators play a huge role in the contest, Remember when people have to vote for you and come watch the finals.
It would be bad if you lose the finals because on your screen you have a superleet car whilst on other screens it appears as a dumpster.

Yes, but pictures only count for 50 percent, Ingame appeareance is also important!

Vehicle of the Year 2011 will be the second edition of the succesfull event.

This year's edition has learned from the small mistakes made last edition, and with that corrected this edition will be definatly a rocking trip.
So... What's new?

First of all, We have decided that the Winner of last year's edition is not able to take part in this year's edition aswell. This to give everyone the oppertunity to take part and have a decent chance to win. However, the Winner of last year will be offered an Official function, enabling him to judge the vehicles together with the Organisator.

This year each vehicle taking part will be sorted under a vehicle class. This will make it easier for us to judge vehicles during a certain task. Current known classes are:
4-doors, 2-doors, Sport, Misc, Lowrider, Truck and Cabrio. It'll be most likely that we'll try to stimulate each class to have a variety of vehicles taking part, unlike last year, where the Sultan was the dominating vehicle.

The total prize money shall be improved to $1,000,000 as this contest will be much longer, harder and more dedicated than before. The winner has to proof himself worth winning before claiming the prize. Remember that our aim is 50 contestants at least, so beating those earns such a prize.

Last but not least, We have chosen, due to the oncoming summer holiday season, to start off the Season this month with nomination rounds, so that in May the battle can be unleashed. The estimated ending time of VOTY 2011 is calculated on July 2011.

The event date is yet to be announced, we hope to neither start off soon or start off in September, it'll be probably one of these two..
