I've never played a battlefield game, only ever COD. Will this be easy to get used to?

   Historically, Battlefield is not as fast paced as COD...  as the maps are huge and of course vehicles and destruction plays a big part.

  But even coming into BF for the first time... you will have a hell of a lot of fun. When I was a noob me and Haldir just drove around  doing stunts. Also it seems BF3 does have a lot of close quarter, intense areas. A big difference you will also find, is that BF greatly encourages team work.

Which unfortunatley, doesn't always work beacuse people think "I'm so pro, i'll go rambo and own em' all"..
and sometimes people dont even get the point of the game.. they just want to kill kill kill, for instant, in the rush mode.. ( i'm talking about BC 2 ) Yesterday I played, and ALL of my team were eithar snipers campers, or eithar just trying to kill instead of arming the M-COM. It's realy annoyin sometimes, but usually the people are normall and the game is fun.

I think the only cool thing that there is in COD MP that there isnt in BF, is the kill streaks rewards.

Once you play Battlefield, you won't go back to Call of Duty.

That what happened to me when I got Battlefield Bad Company 2 on sale for Steam, I stopped playing CoD4 and never went back.

Battlefield is meant for patient people while COD is just "Run'N'Gun" game.

  Yeah Trey the team that is all snipers will always lose lol... and they don't realize. Go to them and start blowing shit up all around them  or dance in front of their scopes.

  Kill streak awards are quite fun... as they reward achievements. Maybe they will bring back the artillery strike from BF2

  Not necassarily though, some maps in BC2 are quite confined, and who needs patience when you have a rocket launcher that can blow holes through buildings

Yeah but if there's a reward that you can get from a killstreak, it's give you momentom to reach that.

Mw2 story line was great aswell, there was 2 mission that I realy realy liked, 1 was when you start it on those ice mountins, and then you climb on them, and the other is that you fight through the favela, then when you try to get to your choper, you fall down, and you have to reach to it by running on roofs, evading from the brazillians.
The cool thing about the MW campign is that they were uniqe, as for BC2, wasn't realy uniqe, you didnt do things like that, tho the game still owns.
And about your doubs. Trust me, even if you will run it at the lowest graphics, it will still look fantastic.

Yeah, I just take the enginner kit and shoot the gustav at them. or I just put C4 on their face and blow it up.. and about the artillery strike, I believe there's already something simliar in BC2. There's that scope in the recon kit, you aim it to where you want, and it drop missles. Tho yeah, it is anyoin that it's only for recons.

After over a year of playing BC2, it got quite boring , so I made a stop of 2 months, got back, and made my self new challenges. now it's fun again I own em' all with my Uzi.

It's quite funny how people put things together when they should be seperated whilst things that should be together get put seperated...

Call of Duty and Battlefield are 2 different franchises. You CAN'T compare these 2 games with each other because they're meant to be different. It would be really boring if both games tried to copy each other. Try to compare Counterstrike with Battlefield, that won't work either, because they are different games.

For my opinion, I love playing Call of Duty, I fail to see why people call it bad and suppose they don't even have a reason to say that apart from reading the user media instead of using their own head and have their own opinion..

I think it's personal taste to decide Call of Duty is better or Battlefield is better. I really cannot judge battlefield too hard, I didn't play it much because EA kicks me and tons of other people from their servers without explaining what is actually wrong, apart from that I did play it sometimes for a few minutes (before EA kicked me off) and saw an entire other game.  Good fun, but so is Call of Duty.

What I miss in Battlefield tough is a good storyline (rather boring and repetive, espescially after playing Multiplayer) whilst the Call of Duty singleplayer campaign is full of action and story twists. Espescially the story of Black Ops was something I definatly loved. Playing with the history, Fantastic. Also the Zombie mode in Call Of Duty is a + point that will keep you busy for hours, days...

I can't imagine battlefield with zombies, I won't expect it from them either, because that would be definatly copying the idea from CoD...
