Ohohoho what a game this is. Even though there are plenty of bugs (some are hilarious)... this game is immense!

  I can even run it on ultra with my basic gaming PC setup (i5 2.67GHz, 4gb DDr3, HD 5770) on ultra, and it looks beautiful.

There are many thinks that need ironing out but the devs are doing a great job listening on the beta forums... despite over 6000 topics on the english section alone. Will have a video of me being a noob up soon.

I'm running the game on low settings, and not fullscreen :<
still pretty laggy but thats mostly the CPU stressing as I saw on my CPU and GPU monitor.

The beta didn't meet my expectations. I excpected it to be much better since they always try to 'top' call of duty. I think their advertisements may start working in a negative way for EA itself.

That's where you wrong my friend.
I can run bc2 on 1024 x 860 resolution ( or whatever are the exact numbers, I dont remember. ) But, I play BO on The lowest resolution or else it's laggy, and even on lowest resolution it is quite laggy, + I dont have windows 7/vista, so I  dont have directx 11, and I have a gefroce 210 512mb. That's my pc upgraded as best as it possibly can be, and I cannot upgrade it anymore.

Btw, do you think that if I buy a pc with the recommended specs i'll be able to run it on ultra settings?

do NOT judge BF3 out from operation metro! that map is bad for judging the game compared to the others BF series exept for BFBC2 was ALL about conquest, the gamemode conquest defines the multiplayer experience rather than rush so i sa WAIT for the release and see instead of blaming it now for the DICE chosing a bad map for the Beta.
