I'm still disappointed with how Battlefield 3 is, technical wise.

Able to play campaign on Ultra settings, stutters like hell after 10 minutes in Multiplayer and crashes after. I've never stayed long enough to finish a fucking round without crashing so far.

I dumbed down the graphics, still crashes after a certain amount of times in Multiplayer.

Not to mention I had to use a console command to adjust the memory in order for BF3 to quit crashing when I first got the game.

Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

Then make a file named 'user.cfg' (rename to it after making user.cfg.txt") and insert the commands you want in it, afterwards place it in the root/directory of the game so that you wont need to type them each time you enter Elite ;)

You are to be looking for MW3
Nah, I really dislike the game. More close quarter combat and shit.
Maybe I like to play on consoles more because I used to have nintendo 64 and PS1 at the age of idk 5?
It feels more comfortable and real to play on a console for me. No idea why people spend hundreds of bucks on a pc.
But ok opinions.

Because PC gaming > console gaming. And I have a 360, so it's not me just saying that for the sake of it.

PCs are multimedia machines in the true sense of the word, as well as the fact they can do a heck of a lot more then consoles. Along with the fact that games are cheaper and overall, better to play on in my opinion.

I also have a 360 with multiple games, only in the past two or so years I've really started getting into PC gaming and slowly my Xbox is being used less and less. Due to the convenience of PC gaming, being able to get a game quickly and no bloody subscription. I have a 360 now, and still use it because I have friends who play Xbox too and not to mention I like some of the 360 exclusives (However few there are).

I caved, after reading up on Origin's snooping as much as I could, I deemed it worth the breach in privacy to purchase BF3 and it was completely worth it. It is an awesome game and I've already finished the campaign, now I just need to get good at the multiplayer. It's brilliant IMO, I can run the game on high in MP fine, but I prefer to run it on medium so my computer doesn't start dying (Together with minimal background application it takes about 80% of my total CPU, give or take 10% at times). I might try and run single player on ultra, because my GTX560 may be able to handle it. Even though majority of my computer is fairly old now.

when I say arrive I mean built together aswell, and all programs installed already.
So when i'll have it in my house, all I'll have to do is plug it in and fire it up! 6/7 days to order all the parts + build it and install all the programs needed sounds fair to me.

Took a day of work to assemble my new computer on a shop in my town..And I live in a shitty little small town in Brazil. They of course, had all parts there.

Ofcourse, my shop told me it will take a day or max. 2 days to build it, but they need to order the parts, and that takes 4-5 days.

Mine took about a week because they had to order my graphics card or something. But then again I am lazy and impatient so whatever.

I meant changing it through command prompt. That what made my game not crash when I first started Battlefield 3.

How did you get to the conclussion that I'm lazy? I have no idea how to build a pc, I need them to do it for me. And why exactly do you think I paid extra? For that kind of pc, the price came out just fine.
Mine took about a week because they had to order my graphics card or something. But then again I am lazy and impatient so whatever.

Same here, they need to order all the parts and build it and install all the windows programs and office programs and microsoft anti-virus. 6 days for that sounds fair to me.

Oooooo I see what's going on here. I forgot to mention that they couldnt order the parts yesterday beacuse it's hanukkah over here. They said they will be able to order it in sunday. They told me it will take the parts to get there 2 days, and an extra 1/2 for building the pc. So, Yeah.
