As Support you get what we call a "support weapon" these are fully automatic light machine guns with hig capasity magazines..

So lets say you and your team mates is getting ready to assault a town. You take posision at a decent and good place where you got a nice overview over the battlefield. As your assault squads is getting ready for an attack, you are supposed to give them supressing fire and hopefully killing the enemies as your assault units move in to sweep the area. The Sniper will have all asses covered and scouting the area before you move in. Once the assault teams have cleared the first fronts, you as the support need to move forwards and supress the enemy once against as the assault units move forwards once again..

Of course this requiers teamwork and good communication, and yes it does accualy work..

For you these words might be meaningless to you, but i like to lay down tactics before i run and gun

That was only fun the first hour i got the mortar, now i see the mortar as useless :P

What's there to chose? it's eithar M249, or M249. That gun is just... I dont know if it's just me being extremly good with it, but it's just raping everyone like they were retarted donkies. I have a 1.42 k/m ratio with it and it's still rising. Tho the highest kill/minute I have is with the G17 3.9

When I go support, I always try to use an extended mag. Not only does it help cover my squad mates as they move to the next point of cover, but there's a very high chance I'll kill someone, or suppress them so much they can barely aim. As well as ammo being super essential when you don't die constantly.

Why do you need extended mag when you have a gun with minimum 150 bullets in it?

When you do some suppresive fire, you lost a lot of bullets.

You're not doing well at support if you lose that many bullets by supporting.. I have my 150 with the M249 and it's well over enough for each time I support my squad and team. The weapon just tears everyone up. 3-4 and the guy is down.


Is anybody else having issue joining the game? I cant join any servers nor launch the campaign. It started yesterday and i've no clue how to fix it. Anybody is having the same trouble and know how to fix it? It's freaking annoyin, I cant play the game at all. How many issues can there be with 1 freaking game.. first the game would crash constantly and now I cant even open it.. terriffic.

It's not forbidden to get that little extra ( 100 extra bullets ) to totally surpress them and spray large groups of enemies.

Never said it was, just saying it's a bit pointless when you already have 100 bullets. But again, it's about skills. There are people who are extremly good that can supress with a simple assault rifle, but those are few.
