They have said that each investigation would take from 45mins-1hr 30mins with about 30 or so investigations most based off real life.
Total amount of gameplay hours would probaly be 30-40hrs.

I have three words to say about this; OH MY GOD!

The look of their faces, the movement, the feeling!

I've been waiting for a GTA as the "good" guy for ages! And as a detective, AWESOME!

I believe this will feel like a darn good mix of; GTA ( of course, isn't it? ), Red Dead Redemption ( seems like the same engine ), Mafia II ( the surroundings and feeling ) and.. last but not least, I believe it will give me a awesome feeling of a Heavy Rain kinda game! I just can't wait!

Remember that the game is developed by Team Bondi, and not Rockstar. While I presume (and hope) that Rockstar has a lot of input in the game, there will be some things that will be different that you can't blame Rockstar for. :(

Rockstar are publishing it.
Though it does looks like a GTA game but I doubt it'll have the same feeling.

Hope it's not another Mafia II all over again where that games took long enough and was complete garbage.

I meant the time they took to release it ... not how long it took to complete the storyline.   :roll:

Too bad it wont come out for PC..ever
It's been almost a year and we haven't heard any news for RDR PC...
Now don't get me wrong, we deserve it for downloading games, which I do, too (Except GTA IV complete edition - i felt I owed R* that much after I spent so many hours playing) and even if I saved enough money for PS3, it would mean I would have so save up again a lot of money for games, and seeing as I pass one in week tops...what would I do??
If only original games were a little cheaper...

Well... i dont say that you are wrong here.... but..... they will still make alot of money if they release the game on PC becuse the majority of ppl has a PC and i dont think that will be more "downloads" of the game than buyers ....  They will still make alot of money....
