Yea, those with the right to have SWAT gears should only use them in combat/police work when it comes to high risk situations - usually involving heavy weaponry.

Exceptions being for training purposes and internal SWAT operations.

No. SWAT already have duty regulations, means they can go on duty only on situations listed in a topic at restricted boards, but i can assure people in SWAT CAN'T go on SWAT duty to chase minor criminals. If you see someone doing this report to me or Marcus.

Lol i knew this was going to happen. What probably makes us look like ''abusers'', ''BWAT'' is that we are most of time on duty, but ALWAYS with a reason, as 70% of the time a Operative is online there is a situation that allows him to get on SWAT duty...

We won't inform this, but SWAT is also allowed to chase a single criminal depending of his bounty.

I'm not accussing your BWAT officers of anything, just remind them to change back to default duty when the biggest criminals are down Kinda annoying to see BWAT officer chasing me in Cheetah while my wanted level is 2, and when I start escaping on foot I get taken down by hail of bullets from assault rifle...

I have to agree with Marcell. More often am I seeing officers using SWAT skin to chase low level criminals. More to the point they even debate why they should be able to suspect when SWAT. SWAT isn't for "roaming around waiting for something big to happen". They are sent out for situations where the cops can't handle it.

No point in that - it happens to every BWAT officer, sometimes. Besides I don't think I'll get much of Leo's trust when I got banned for DMing, that's for sure.

Anyways the point is I think SWAT duty should be only available on emergency protocols (like Gear 5) or just some auto-lock for it, so when they aren't any criminals with WL higher of 6 you can't go on SWAT duty. However the problem is, no role-playing when admins are off, and that can be annoying.

This is not the best idea, but something really needs to be done.

And yeah, Klaus - I heard 'OMG, why the hell can't i suspect as a SWAT' line 100 times.

If you have proofs the complaint will be dealt accordingly, i'm fucking sick of seeing people saying ''ok swat abuse lol u chase small crimez'' WHEN PEOPLE DON'T REPORT THEN. Please, start reporting this to me or Marcus WITH proofs (screenshots, logs, videos) AND WE WILL TAKE ACTIONS!

I'll tell you a example. I hear criminals saying X is one of the SWAT operatives who mostly ''abuses''. What he exactly abuses? He is trigger-happy? He's corrupt? Send a complaint to me. Simple.

See what i said above. And yes i agree, SWAT should not be able to suspect. The suspection must be done with VCID/VCPD cooperation. SWAT is trained only to RESPOND to the situations, not do the paperwork and sign tickets...
