I suggest making gas stations not work for suspects.

Being in a 10 minute pursuit, and then having the suspect stop at a gas station (with 3 cops behind him) and fillup is a bit ridiculous.

I know RP is not forced here, but in the real world when a suspect is low on fuel they ditch the car and go into a foot pursuit, not go to the local gas station.

I would also suggest disabling pay n spray for suspects, its just another advantage for them, as they can go to pay n spray in the middle of a pursuit to fix their car, while cops have no way of fixing their cars.

Hello Senate,

Looking through your topic, I agree to some points.
The ability to fuel up is ridiculous indeed, however, we should leave the pay'n'spray option. Think of it as this: They use P'n'S as a "heat" reducing option. Once you respray, you become more hidden. Disallowing both of them would bring chaos.

As you see suspects are limited already (Cannot evade or surrender)

Regards.

IMO that would not be fair for the suspects if they were not allowed to re-fill up thier cars. You should also remember in some scenario the suspect enters quickly a gas station and fills up with out paying.
I'm not really against this idea or with it, I am quite happy how things are now in the server :).

Currently inactive because of work, coming back when I find more time to IV:MP..

Which cop would allow suspects to refuel their cars in peace? :D
Same goes with PnS - just block the suspects if they stop at them ;)

I agree with disabling the refuel of suspects. It's very hard, even impossible to stop a suspect from it besides destroying of gas station is not helping. As soon as the weapon sync is ready that ability can be enabled back.

It's not worth putting effort in it. Not every suspect is being chased 24/7 by cops. Let's say there's a killer around, and all cops are focussed just on getting THAT guy... You will have more than enough time to fill up...

What is messed up is your perception of IV:MP. Probably because they do not allow guys without balls there.

Thank you for quoting 2 words from my entire post and totally misrepresenting my statement.

Theres a difference between what is "real life" and what is downright unrealistic, I was simply using that as an example.

Lol thats just stupid. Most time as suspected cops wont even chase u and u just cruise around city minding ur own business. Not enabling me to refuel as suspect will ruin my game and the only way i could play is give up. I agree that refueling while beeing chased is ridiculous but what if you are suspect and you are not beeing chased? I dont support that atall

To clear up any confusion that people seem to have about this topic, I am referring to a suspects ability to fillup while being closely pursued .

Getting gas as a suspect is fine, however I find it incredibly lame when they are about to run out of gas with cops directly behind them, and stop at the gas station and fill up. Ramming them doesnt stop the refueling process either.

As for the payn'spray, I understand that it was used in the regular game as a way to lose wanted level, and I have no problem with it in that regard.

My main concern with the payn'spray is it allows a suspect to take more risks while evading police, risks that the police cannot afford to take as they have no way to repair their vehicles.

For example a suspect might take a sharp turn much more quickly than they should, knowing that if they crash they can just go fix their car and be on their way, while the cops have to be very careful on every turn because once our cars take too much damage then the suspect gets away. And the cycle continues.

Blocking a suspect in the paynspray works sometimes but they can usually just ram their way out, and if their car is locked theres no way to remove them from the vehicle with force. Maybe some of these problems will solve themselves with the upcoming changes to sync.

Thanks for reading.

Senate-

Hey Senate, just for the info, the Pay n Spray is pretty...exploitable...park the cars and block the door, or block after the person enters....

My computer can defeat me in chess, but not in Assassins Creed.
