Game crashes on startup.

OK, my game loads, shows the shitty nvida logo, the R* logo and then it crashes when it comes to the game menu. I use a no CD crack the same one from the Argonath website. I cant run the single player game or the game on SA-MP. Any ideas???

 :ps: Before anyone says delete the gta_sa.set file, update your drivers uninstall then reinstall your game and then restart your computer, I've done all that and believe me... I've done my research.

The no cd crack won't work for me either. I mount the cd in a virtual drive with Alcohol 120% and it works fine

do you use SRS wow effects program?
if so and your OS is windows XP
then close SRS
it cause the game to crash

I have the same problem with running SA on my computer... Crashes straight after the GTA: SA logo screen.

So I have to play it on my dads comp...

half the people that play GTA SA-MP have pirated there copy of SA including me.
its not that ahrd to do since oyu dont nheed a cd-key

The reason is because you have the 1.1 Update. You need 1.0 To play the game

The only thing i can think of right now is, whether the "cracked" gta-sa.exe is in the right place. Im assuming u have already done this, but i.ll still take a shot.
Before placing the No CD crack in the GTA folder, u need to remove the original gta-sa.exe from the GTA folder. And also, this often occur when u try to run the No CD crack directly from the desktop without having it placed in the GTA folder 1st.

Hope this makes sense.

no  you rename the original to SA1.exe or w/e then you put the crack in make a shorcut on your desktop and put in the correct directory for it to startup

That isn't needed but if you want to keep the original one that might be good ^^. I just replaced the orignial gta_sa.exe with the cracked one. :P
Also the crack on the the site might be broken, I download my cracks from ''...'' so try to download it from there.
