www.findmakarov.com - Possible Modern Warfare 3 viral website?

Recently I was browsing the web when I found this:
www.findmakarov.com

This website features some Modern Warfare 2 sounds, a voice that sounds like it's saying "Shep--" and an image of Shepherd flashes for half a second and then it cuts to a counter. As of this post, 4 days are left for something to happen.

I bet this is a marketing strategy by IW to promote a potential Modern Warfare 2 sequel, just like Treyarch did for Black Ops, in this case the gknova6 website.

Turns out its a Hoax.

The time on the site actually relates to EA's Battlefield slot on wednesday at GDC. Activision have confirmed that they have no intention of announcing modernwarfare 3 and that anything else saying otherwise is a hoax.

It has been revealed that the site was made for a Modern Warfare Film. A Fan Film of course. But not a game of any sort.

I've seen many articles saying "omg mw3 releasing heres site", "heyyy activision sed they wudnt be announcing", "findmakarov.com is actually for a film", etc etc etc...
But I'm only believing it when I see what happens when the counter goes all the way to zero.
