A Criminal is a Individual who has been suspected for a Crime or other Illegal Acticity, every Criminal is Innocent until proven Guilty. In-Game Criminals have the chance at Freedom, all they have to do is go through an honest Investigation, and if there story is true they are free, and if not it's off to the Slammer. In Real Life Criminals are trialed in Court by a Jury, and then there fate is decided.

Argonath is not about making Fame and getting Rich, it's about leaving a Story to share with others.

Stop with the copy-pasta from dictionaries/wikipedias, will you people?

Play for fun and friendship, not for stats or achievements.
If you do not want to roleplay, log off. Remember that "do not force RP" does NOT mean you can refuse to interact with other players.

The entire reason we have Hydra/Hunter on the server is because cops don't know how to work together. Sadly

A criminal by my definition is someone who partakes in illegal roleplay MOST of the time. A cop who goes off duty (as has been said) and gets suspected is not a criminal, he is a suspect.

If you have played a substantially longer time as a cop than as a criminal, you are a cop.
If you have played a substantially longer time as a criminal than as a cop, then you are a criminal.

But most "Real" criminals have group affiliations to one of the crime groups on the server.

I for instance, am an undisputed criminal. I have been a criminal from the day I logged on the server and have hardly ever gone on duty. Most of my time and effort goes toward criminal activities, and most of my friends on the server are criminals.

What about people being 50/50 ? What about those who hardly play but still take the 2?
I think it's up to the person itself to decide he is a criminal or any other role.

There is no "50/50" but if there was, they would just be titled as "citizen"

Mine clearly wasn't a copy-pasta.

Copy-pasta sounds delicious...

My man you seem to not read previous posts either. This is all going off of obvious postulations(what we think) . So i recommend you not look sht up on wikipedia because 1) We aren't defining Criminal, Cop or Civilian and 2) Wikipedia is a sht source and if you are college bound you should know this. Civilian is not a cop but a cop is classified under a civilian. You keep mixing it up man. Re-read my previous post...thanks.
Yea, if you think I should stop them maybe you should stop first? I get annoyed when I correct a piece of information which is incorrect, and they contradict it with no proof. As someone who is college-bound with Maths and Physics, I do not trust anything without evidence.

Wikipedia is not the original source, any information must be referenced from another website.

So a civilian =/= cop but...
a cop = civilian ?

^ As I said, I'm doing Maths, but it doesn't really require someone with a huge knowledge of it to realise that one of those is wrong (yet you said them both)?

Salt and hate won't take us anywhere.
And we do not try to be real life, as why would you ever play real life if you have one ? We play the GTA universe, and our players should try to live in the GTA world, not the real one.

If you can't understand this, you are a lost cause and need to check over the topic. I give up after this.

Yea, choose a picture without trolling on it (according to the "Removed" sign on it.)
A picture takes a snapshot of one moment, and may not be an accurate description of an incident. Just because you were smiling in the picture, does it mean you were happy? I think not. They can be edited and manipulated to portray something in a certain way, which is why a lot of pictures cannot be trusted.

it was actually a graph, but the image was removed because of the embedded troll face in it. it wasn't a screenshot.

Nope, nothing wrong there. What he is basically saying there is that all Cops are civilians but not all civilians are cops, as some of them might be just businessman, firefighters, medics or smth else.
Therefore comes the conclusion that cop = civilian, but civilian =/= cop.

And we do not try to be real life, as why would you ever play real life if you have one ? We play the GTA universe, and our players should try to live in the GTA world, not the real one.

While a cop is on-duty, is is a cop, not a civilian.
You cannot be both at the same time.

EDIT: Should I remind people of basic maths? Just because you put "Cop is civilian" or "Civilian is cop", it does not mean there is a difference. It's like:
2+1=3
1+2=3

You get the same outcome.

No.
The point trying to be made is that not all civilians are cops but all cops are civilians. For this statement it is assumed that roles are not mutually exclusive.

I do, however, disagree with that in terms of player roles. A cop off duty is still a cop player. A criminal who is not suspected is still a criminal player. A citizen player (that being a player who is always almost always whitenamed or a non-cop job duty) either on duty or suspected is still a citizen player.
