Why you guys CONSTANTLY base people on there english, and not there personallity, or there knowlege of the server? eatch application you fucking see, you have a major chance on acceptence if you know perfect english, but dont know shit about the server!

And otherwise, little english, much server knowlege, and you dont get shit!!

This really has to stop, start basing people on there argonath life, NOT THERE FUCKING ENGLISH LEVEL, IM SO FREAKING SICK OF THIS!!

Calm down Doggi.. I don't know if it's as worse as you describe, but I guess you need a decent english level in order to become an Admin. You're representing the server, so I guess that is one of the things you need to understand. I do get your point though.

Even though I have an understanding of English on par with a native's, I don't really care as long as someone's english is good enough for them to communicate.

Also, expect no lifers to come here and post "u mad".

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

Good point.

It's the character that's worth the most, not the knowledge of languages..
Of course, this is an english community, so atleast a little knowledge for good communication is advised, but sometimes people try to be perfect and break down others who talk understandable english aswell...

Good english is required in many applications BECAUSE the organizations will not work to the optimium if not.

"erry1 go to di artuse complx"

"lol teh bad men want 50k dollah"

I personaly enjoy working together with people who can express themselfs in english and types properly. If I have to work with someone who just goes around typing with "u" "y?" etc, not bothering typing properly, I'll go insane.

What's so wrong about improving yourself?

Doggi, could you please enlighten me, how am I supposed to roleplay with a person with whom I can not communicate? Also, "perfect English"?. To enjoy the community to the fullest and to be able to talk to it's members, your English level do not have to be higher than B1.
Quote
A1    Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

A2    Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

B1    Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

B2    Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

C1    Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning. Can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

C2    Can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read. Can summarise information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations.

There should be "are" in front of "constantly";
their*;
no "and" after comma;
each*;
acceptance*;
English should be with a capital;
don't*;
Argonath should have the first letter as a capital;
I'm*.

Thank you very much.

There is no fun or something in that message of yours, if that was supposed to be.
