I really think there should be some kind of rule that prevents cops/agents whatsoever, to chase and kill
someone right after a server restart (1-2 minutes) so the suspect can have atleast a chance to get a
car or something. This has happened to me and several other players, I don't know how many times.
Either the cops doing this have NO moral or they are desperate for money.

Then I also think that new players should have to wait a couple of days before they can become cops, then we would decrese all the carkilling/carraming/ fakesuspect reasons.

I have lost huge respect of many "law enforcement officers" over and out, -J

Jorge,

Argonath keeps a certain level of equality between all members. This means that new players should basicly have the same rights and possibilities (unless the player is breaking the rules). The freecops are not nescessarily to be removed, rather have to be trained a little to understand how the officer role on Argonath exactly works.

If you should encounter a problem regarding such matters, Please do not hesistate to report this issue ingame trough the /report command, or if no administration member is present you can always contact them later with the name of the person in question.
Don't forget that all problems, no matter what size can be reported when you think it is against the rules, all reports are notified and dealt with.

Well I thought of that aswell, but the "regular players" are the one that suffers from it. And yes I usally warns the person 1 time before I report them =)
But there should be like a 1 minute freeztime for the new players showing rules and commands both to help them and "the rest of us".

Personally I don't think tutorials work out well..

Let's put it this way:

If you join the a new server, the first thing you want to do is explore it yourself and play, isn't that right? A tutorial will cause many frustration, espescially when forced and not to be skipped. Also because the player doesn't have any idea of how long the tutorial is, the chance of many people leaving the server for it his rather high.

You could just have a countdown, " unstuck in 34 sec" or something simple like that will spare much deathmatching and
carramming/killing situations, like 90 % of the new players starts to carram/atempting to steal cars, then when a admin
thell them its a rulebreak, they are like: "ohh okey sorry." or they write something in russian. I personally would think it
would be very annoying when I have to tell people pver and over again becauze they did not use /rules, before playing.

About cop thing

Absolutely no need, cops stay without cars too if they're chasing you  so its fair , if you dont want lose so much money surrender!.

And we're not moneyhungry.

And for rest , try to nicely tell them its not allowed dont go "WTF B**** Dmer DIE!!"

Yeah but the difference from a criminal without a car and a cop without a car is really big, If a cop have a car he goes after the sus to kill him or to arrest him, but if I got a car right after a server restart I dont go after him so he dosent lose anything on a server restart compared to me.

Instead of doing these regular moaning topics about how new players are when they begin on the server are just wrong.

Simple thing to get these things stopped, pull your thumb out of your ass and help them, teach them what's wrong and right.
You could easily explain the rules to them, you could always patrol with them and help them understand how the Argonath cop life is.

And don't ever forget that the new players keep this community running, those are the ones to inspire me atleast to stay here and help them become regulars like myself.

And if they're to incapable of responding and ignoring what people says, and are just on the server to ruin for others. /report ID reason, if no administrator are online, try to contact one.

Well that rule/commands thing was kind of a help think I thought of, and if they still need help after that they can ask about it, like they
do now. But I mean 30 sec of a persons time (once) for rules and commands popping up in the screen should not be too much to ask.

In many situations the player is aware of the 'RPG' term as it's commonly used and known. However if the situation should occur that a Player is not aware of our rules, They'll be made aware off directly by the administration team. In most of the cases that is when the issue gets solved.
Do you experience problems with players often and at what time do these occur?

I have experienced problems with players randomly, sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes in the night, its totally random. people need to get, atleast the rules showed to them before they start to play, since its a warzone almost everytime you go to airport.

Or use the common sense, tell them about the rules and tell them how to check them. Or you can simple just tell them every single rule.

I have helped many new players, and Im getting pretty tired of it, not cuz I have to help them or anything, sometimes I want to help new players and sometimes I don't have energy or patience, but there should be another solution from my point of view.

Another solution? Not everyone have super English skills, this is an international community and it represents over 50 countries. And if you're getting tired of "helping" them, simple direct them through PM.

And patient is the key to success.
