This is the one and only nomination round. Due to the high amount of disqualifications during this round. This means once you passed this round, you'll become an Official Contenstant of Vehicle of the Year 2011. In this nomination round you were asked to take a 'glamourous' picture. I saw many pictures passing by, some were hard to make glamourous, but let it be clear that one of the pictures truly was excellent..

This picture represents glamour, richness and is shot from a great angle, with the vehicle not to dominating and not too small either. The picture makes a great composition and is therefor chosen as winner of the Nomination Round. Ridley will recieve a Wildcard for the next round, Meaning that Ridley cannot be voted out for the next round.

That's correct.

There will be no more Nomination Rounds, due to the high amount of Disqualifications.
This means that Nomination Round 2 will be cancelled and all nominees left in the contest will be directly taking part into the actual contest.
The next round, the actual start of the event will begin on Sunday.

Are the last 4 places in the race
Or do 4 people that have most of the damage on cars get DQed?

I'm driving a slamvan.. my situation is not much better.
Although, from what I understood, there will not be that round, since there were alot of Disqualifies.
