There has been some confusion about how to use /cloth.
The command /cloth gives you two variables to enter when you type the plain command. These are "[Clothes1]" and "[Clothes2]". Let me explain what both of them mean.
You will not be able to save the "altered" clothes.
[Clothes1]
This variable is the slot you will change. There are currently three available slots; Head & Hair(0), Torso(1) and Legs(2). The first variable will therefore only be able to filled in with a 0, 1 and a 2. Depending on the character, you will have a set of colors you can add to these. This is where "[Clothes2]" comes in!
[Clothes2]
This variable is the color of the slot. Depending on your character (and the slot), you will have diffirent amounts of colors to change to. Just try around with the colors for a bit, as it is free anyway.
The command /givehelm will issue you with a helmet, a hat or nothing at all, depending on the skin. For instance, skin 190 (NOoSE) will be issued with a pilot helmet, and skin 325 will be issued with a hat. You can use this command while being inside a vehicle. When you enter a car, however, with a helmet/hat, this will be removed automatically. You can re-use the command in order to get the helmet/hat back.
There is a command (/removehelm) to remove the helmet/hat, but this is currently bugged.
Feel free to note any mistakes or to add any ideas!
Credits to K_Senate for explaining /cloth to me.
