No, I have been reading everyone's comments and all, though I haven't replied directly here in a while.
Still been in contact with a few people who have given me "things to look at" along the way. Been tied down (I say "tied down" :P) with a lot of other projects around VC:MP, around Argonath, all adding more things to the pile - that is why I haven't been able to dedicate 100% to this in recent months.

Although, just to say, we have surpassed the number of pages, the number of editions and publications by other similar newspapers and media around Argonath!

I'm tempted to kind of just upload my VCE file on here. It's got all the things I have worked on, about 60% content that was never released. It's not in any order, so I will have to sort it out and publish them. I'll also put up what's going to happen with this in the future.

Really Legend, you should just focus on being the owner/publisher. Set a new forum up (or use the one that you showed me) and recruite others to help write articles/interviews/whatever.

Sure thing, thought it may not feature in the current "stuff" coming up, shall add it any promotional items for the future.

It just has to be something mid-short, of course, and representative of your work so far if that was possible. Best of luck with the new album.

Just 'saving' the old topic design.

Will begin work on a re-design to the concept for the future. In the last year the media side of Argonath has grown and outlets such as news blogs, feeds and social networking seems to be on the rise.

Though these are somewhat restricted to certain servers I will do my best to make sure there's something just for VC:MP.

Vice City Explorer is a project, based in VC:MP, which collates recent happenings, events and general activities - both roleplay (in the server) and otherwise. Currently, it works on a monthly basis, and is aimed as a community project for the whole of Argonath to benefit from.

Feel free to take a look around this topic, which should provide all the details, and further information. VCE also has its own site/forum which is accessible for guests and staff alike. You can use the navigation buttons above, or alternatively click on one of the links around this topic to explore.

Feel free to take a look around, and all comments are welcome. Due to general Argonath RPG maintenance, the site/forum will be down for a bit until everything is fully in place, and certain links to the site have been removed/will not work. During this time, applications to join the team will be closed (apart from those that had previously been accepted).

Also, the issues for January, February and March are now more or less ready to be published and shall be put on this topic shortly.

Joining the Team

At the moment, there's no limit to the number of people that can join officially.

- What's in it for me?
This would be a great way for you to make an individual mark on the Argonath community, and you would gain recognition through your work/contributions. In years to come, old versions of the VCE may be looked at and would be significant history of Argonath - you can rightfully claim to have been an important part of it. This should also expand your own experience here, and in the server. It might even show you some new directions in which you can take your game.
As this is not government supported/funded currently, there is no set pay scheme. However, employees will receive payments/rewards as an 'extra' for their work!

And what's more, this project would not be possible without active team members. ; )

This is mostly a community based project, so the content published will come from many different sources.
Even if you are not part of the team (though it is highly recommended), you can submit articles, pictures, ideas or anything that would be suitable for an upcoming issue.

There are no obligations as such to this, as long as you stick within the Argonath rules and the content is appropriate. You will be credited directly for any work, and there may even be an in-game cash payment involved!

There's no better way to keep up with the latest VC:MP news than subscribing!
You can leave an e-mail, or a particular forum board/topic/thread that you would like us to leave each issue of the Vice City Explorer upon release. This is a completely flexible service, and you may add more than one area for us to leave a copy in your subscription.
There is a one time administration cost of AR $15, 000 per subscription, which covers all future VCE releases. 

Groups (or individuals) are welcome to partner with the Vice City Explorer, simply by leaving their details here.
Partners will receive possible exclusives, and additional benefits such as reserved areas within VCE issues.

This would also be a great form of advertising, whether you are a group, clan, family or just going solo, and have something to say to the world. For the most part, advertising is free and content will be optimised to go into future publications.
