As I see more and more people writing about their path through this community and in general, I've decided to do so as well.
Nothing special to write, than a friendly "Hi". Some of you may know me by my first name, "wtfomg". My true start in Argonath was July 2009 and before that, I had a small account in May 2007 but I simply left Argonath around November because of the high school commitments and such. How I re-founded Argonath RPG you ask? Well, I used the same email account for years, which I consider lucky because one day I was browsing the Inbox folder and something strange happened. I had over 1500 message because, you know how it goes with the random spam messages. I stumbled upon an Argonath password renewal request email and I decided to register there again.
Summer in front of me, boring and nothing to do as usual, I started browsing bit by bit. Getting to know the flow I joined the server as well. My first 5 minutes were not easy.
As I joined, name colors started changing for all players and I was pointed out as a hacker. Luckily, I just received a banana from Kitsune (300 seconds). After the whole incident was over they forgot to remove the banana and I just had to exit the server. I didn't bother to enter, but I got intrigued by the main chat colors. What is this /rank and /admins. And as every other newcomer, I wanted to become of high importance within this "ARPD". My way up began. I met the funny, I met the serious people.
On my way to the officer rank, I've received every bit of police experience from SACS. They thought me everything. I understood the real meaning of police work with these mates. Tho, Emerson/Stabler disliked us using the on duty chat to talk various conversation. They always ended up with Jimmy(Bowling) singing or laughing to In game things. I became an officer. SFPD shiny badge, SACS patrol agent. Made man. I am who I am is the golden rule, isn't it? That proved correct with me. As I'm a shape shifter, I wanted to try everything. I've dropped out of SAPD to joined the FBI, I dropped the FBI to join the criminal side. I've changed too much groups to even start counting and writing them down. My SA:MP "career" was a complete mess.
I found myself on the "Politics and Religion" board. I really liked the discussions there, but now, it turned into "Which you like more...", "Your opinion? You have one?" and off topic pictures which I consider blatant provocation. Enough of me moaning, lets continue shall we?
My only right decision here was IV:MP. I really liked the game so I decided to give it a try. The server was laggy at first and my very first experience there was Nexxt crashing me. Thank you Nexxt. To continue, I was not much satisfied with the project but that still didn't discourage me to continue playing there.
In a blink of an eye, I decided to apply for the moderator position. I had no reason really, just applied for the hell of it. Next moment, I was a moderator.
As Tai is, he pranked me that Gandalf will community ban me for hacking on IV:MP and then surprised me with the Moderator's wave. Cero and I were the first moderators to get accepted. I was dedicated to the server a lot, and many people can confirm that. I had a policy: "Better 1 than 0". I've always told that to other players. Why? Because you could differ that "1/32" from the long list of "0/32" in the master server. Soon, November came. I was the last moderator promoted but I never really cared about it as I knew how much my work is appreciated with the act of promotion. As time passed, I had great time with the newcomers. They really gave a "touch" to the server. Most of them thought I was a bot because I greeted every player into the server with a small tutorial. I answered questions like a robot as well. Many thought I was an addict or such
. There I met DellStorm. Yes, he was an annoying thing. Continuously teasing me with PMs containing "You see how admin work is hard!". But I proved that sucker wrong, didn't I? Look where he is now.
I knew Argonath RPG IV:MP is going to the top and now, it is the top. That kind of philosophy led me to the manager rank. I was surprised but more honored. I am damn proud to see our IV:MP server being one of the most visited on the entire list. That would be it. I have nothing more to say but "I'm happy to be a part of the experience".

Julian: Raw talent. Your RP never ceased to amaze me and your musical taste .... sweet. Stay true.
Daco: Unsung hero. I really respect you, I damn do. Sometimes, you cross the line but I don't care, you're still "Gerrie" to me.
Pandalink: What to say? One of a kind.... a really genuine person. Would be great to have a beer with you.
Leon/Xivilal: Metal brainwashed weirdo. What could I do without your randomness and humor. Respect to you brother.
Cofiliano We have our differences. But you always knew how to be a businessman and deal the cards out right. A true tactician.
Alexw: I thought all Dutch people are weird, but he proved me that they can be even more weird and upside down standing. A hard worker indeed.
CBFasi: High head, straight in the eye talker. That's what I like about you. No lies, no bedtime stories, always the truth no matter what.
hAWK: Everythings about weapons, tactics.... A real "soldier" who will cover your back any time.
JDC: I want you to learn scripting and become a SA:MP scripter. Please do.
