Okay, to begin with. I will refrain from flaming any particular player at all in this thread. Even if I would like to tell some to gtfo out of this community, with that, players that are making it obivious they don't fucking care what happens to this community.

Okay. Good? I'll begin with an little introduction of exactly who I am, in order to clean up some points and some gossip shit I've been hearing about since I resigned from my moderator position.:

I'm Gird3r. That's the nickname I have been using in all gaming related stuff and websites I have visted, or regularly visit. Like Argonath RPG.

Some know me with an huge addiction to donuts, some does not. I don't really care.  I resigned because I got education ahead, There's absolutely fucking no point in being inactive and stay in the admin team. That's just an waste of data. I have been around In the GTA multiplayer experiences since summer 2005. EX-Community Leader for MTA:VC, EX- SA:MP moderator, And I have also been an normal admin AND Main admin in mta:vc.

1: The Argonath RPG beginning

I assume you have read about why the owners started this community. But let me go into an little bit detail about what I saw back in the days.

Now, before I continue:

*There's only 32 maxium player slot. You can't compare.

You are absolutely right, but does that give you fucking trolls and moaners an excuse to not try to develop and further the community itself? Changes happen I agree. But it would be preferable if shit like commonly seen in the speakerbox (i.e Trolls and no-lifers) would dissapear from this community. We want to play this game and have fun in this community. If you are not willing to help develop it. Help it's further growth and be an fair and nice player? Please get the fuck out of here. Argonath DOES not need you. Not now, not ever.

*Changes happen! Accept it and deal with it

Yes changes happen. IF they are for good I would not have an problem with it. Problem is: Some of them are really really bad

Let's take for example the Denied thing and so on.

Players that rulebreak are fully aware, that they can just go "Oh soz i'm so sorry" and get another chance. Again and again.

Stop with this fucking retarded system. What the fuck? I cannot belivie it. I'm not angry at those with unban rights. Example cutter. But the way this "permban" thing is used is way out of scope for being an PERMANENT BAN.

I mean come on. Denying someone who's been banned 2 times already and then give him like 3 months ban. he comes back: He's like oh sorry dudes. Ok unban. What the fuck?

How the fuck is it an "permban" if it expires anyways? That's not really permban. It's like an longer temporary ban. Stop this shit and start thinking on developing an new system. Because this shit is not working in todays Argonath. Because trolls and other fucktards always knows they can just get another chance. They can just continue pressing continue for like 3-4 or even more times? The heck?

Now. Let's begin with explaining Argonath RPG and it's beginning in an as unbiased as I possibly can:

We did not have moan. We did not have anything related to daily bullshit. "Trolls" as they are called now was swiftly banned without this petty bullshit of letting them rapmage and reside in this forum and servers.

There is an reason why we old guys call it "The golden days".

Now. in order to tackle this bullshit? What can we do?

Witchunting? nahhh. Spectating someones every single footstep is not cool unless an reason can be had. It's not an spectator mode where you watch that girl for an long long time until you get to see titties. Fuck that.

So how do we tackle it?

PROPER training. I highly suggsest that Aragorn OR Gandalf. Take an small bit of thier time to create an proper handbook. And also demonstrate it by showing basic tolerate lines.

Also,  Re-think and restart the entire admin system once more. Those who truly can achivie any sort of balance in thier admin work (Ie Tolerance, Strictness and simply being Kind with the players), could re-apply if they wish to do so: By that. I mean everything below Leaders. Managers, everything. Boom. Clean it. Redo it.

Anyways. Shit was golden back in the days. Do you know what we who was there at the time fight for? We fight for the Argonath, that is as close as utopia as possible. It's impossible, but you can try. If you do no try something please jump of an bridge. Thank you. Ethier you try and fail. Or you go "fuck this shit" and stay an looser. Even if you fail, you are atleast if you tried, in my book. A WINNER.

Here's an short list of what needs to be re-done. And reworked:

*The entire community.

Yhe. That's an short list. Everything needs to be re-done. Don't kid me and live in the delusional world that Argonath is completly perfect and fine as it is now. Because that's just lying to yourself.

LSPD
ARPD
Rules (mordenized and reworked, keeping it to the Argonath vision)
Administration team. Mainly the SA:MP one.
Managers.
Scripts.
Ideas and all other things.

Or better yet. Clean the whole forum. Yes that's right. Clean it and swipe it so it shines in an clean new enviroment.

2: The rumored reset

Seriosly. How can you guys be so extremly unthankfull for the scripters working thier ass off? Really?
This pertains especially to those who voted no on this.

Have you guys ever taken an look under your bed? Yhe. Do it right now?

See the dust under it? Yes. It looks shitty right? colleting and keeps colleting until it becomes an small mass of ugly shit.

Sometimes, it's just for the best to redo something. It's not uncommon for an programmer, who's wroten an program and had it for quite some time. To just redo the whole program. Do you know why?
Because he/she learned new stuff. new stuff comes. And the old needs to be placed on the shelf. Let's take for example. Regulars moaning on freecops.

How the fucking fuck do you think ANYTHING is ever going to get better, if you let shit collect under that bed? Huh? Tell me. No you cannot. Because you are to busy counting your fucking money and licking your own ego/living in an fairytail.

For this. LSPD mostly. Your ranks are so fucked up and corrupt. It's NOT funny. Deny it all you want. Scream like an kid at something you don't want to hear. But LSPD needs an rework. Badly. Seriosly. I don't get it. As far as I know. VCPD did not have any of these bullshit problems. I cannot belivie it. Needs an rework.

I am in high favor of this reset. I belivie in it, because cleaning out old shit. And starting over, Is an extremly good way of cleaning out shit. When you shower. You are basically preparing to start over in an sense. You are cleaning of the dirty shit that's been collecting.

3: The cake

Yes cake. Suprising?

We spent 2 years helping to develop Argonath. Without this cake. There'd be no Argonath. RON, Ronnel, Agent, Sauron, Crimson, Yamaha, Kaltsu, Elrond, Sauron and many many more back in the days spent shitloads of time guarding, developing and ensuring the sucsess of this cake for the future generation.

With SA:MP came strawberries and some icing (more advanced animations scripting and options), to bad these strawberries and icing was pooped on by an majority of this new generation mentality. We wanted you guys to sucseed. not troll the fuck out of eachother and moan your sorry asses off. Hat's off to Frank Hawk and I9 for caring about this cake in order to make it as fine as possible. We all got different fucking opinions. But the cake is still there. Don't shit on it. Develop it and IMPROVE it. If you seriosly fail to be of any use of this community. Ethier as an friend. Honest player or just helping as you can. Get the fuck out. The cake is not for such boys and girls.

Some admin was heavily critical about an certain topic I made in the Mod boards. Guess what, Dave was actually right for once, despite being an backstabber and an liar. The problem lies within the whole Admin team to solve. I cannot solve it alone. I cannot develop it alone. I cannot teach help whatever ALONE. We all need to work for this.

But sure. We can go with option 2. Which is add small scripts to RS4. keep it old. Keep it like an outdated system. No screw that.

4: The admin team

For the admin team. You know very well what topic I mean. Read it AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN until you get it into your head what the topic is actually about.

You cannot fucking expect to have any proper respect if you are going to sit there like dandyman and change diapers. It won't fucking work. I would NEVER EVER hire an administrator that does not come with some form of Backbone and CONFIDENCE to speak to the community when needed.

Sometimes you have situations where you can be kind/forgiving.  :pop:
Sometimes. You need to take that backbone. And clearly write to said rulebreaker to stop. Read the rules.

This goes for those admins/moderators. Who are being afraid to do anything. And just sit there and let players harass them/bribe them and all other corrupt shit. Oh and when I think of that. Regulars, who keeps threatning about "Lol remmeber u new moderator" should be Community banned from this community. Learn your fucking place and have some respect for those, who are trying to protect the server you play on you unthankfull bum. If you do not like it. APPLY yourself and stop moaning. You have no fucking right to tell an admin what to do. That's just bullshit that you are using. Ethier apply for the admin team and experience the work yourself. Or shut the fuck up and use the e-mail, Who you have surely been reminded about alot. Yes. The Community Mail. YES, Use it if you got complains. how can you be so fucking stupid as to not understand this? Really, have some form of common sense before you spew bullshit on admin team and blackpaint the admin team who are working to protect YOU.

5: OOC/IC

OOC/IC is not forbidden on Argonath RPG currently. But it is nethier officialy supported. Get what this means? Stop fucking teaching this shit in an sense that it appears to be AN RULE. Sure you can ask them if they want to learn it. But don't fucking require people to use it. Don't make up your own goddamn fucking rules and then force people to follow them against thier will. IS it hard to understand?

6: Why should I help mentality

I'm not fucking asking you guys to hold someones hand thru thier life on Argonath (but if you do. good). I'm asking you. That when you can and are not doing anything else. To help them in some form of another. Atleast point them properly to the SA:MP New players manual. Shortly and easily explain the rules. And OFFER HELP.

If you refuse to do this. Then you can go along and leave with the rest of the trolls and moaners. I cannot expect you nethier force you to do this every single hour of gaming on Argonath. But 5 minutes of helping can make the difference between an new player deathmatching and an new player being genuily intrested in playing on this server according to the rules we have. In short. RP. Is it so painfull to sacrifice 5 minutes about once an week to help an new player? REALLY? If it is. Then I ask you. Who the fuck do you think you are and you think you got the fucking rights to moan about freecops and shit. Fuck off. Seriosly. Your type is the one that pisses me off the most. If you do not help. Then shut the fuck up with the moaning bullshit. You got absolutely no right to talk shit about freecops and such alike situations, when you did jack shit to help the community yourself.
This is mainly aimed at the constant influx of moaners and smartasses who keeps moaning about the common freecop. Or who keeps moaning in general without having done jack shit to help the community.

7: Democracy in Argonath RPG

Democracy? Ah yes. Wait I wanna be the owner of the server. Ok cool guise. Oh wait. Let's say 51% wants to change Argonath RPG into Argonath DM.

No. In the end. The owners have the final say. You can help and such. That's completly cool and in my book you are A WINNER if you help this community survive and continue forward. But don't fucking expect to overrule the owners. You cannot have complete democracy in Argonath. Accept it.

8: The Argonath RPG Future

What does the future hold? Well. If I would say my honest opinion. Both admins and players, are letting this community slowly go down the toilet.
Only YOU and the COMMUNITY can make Argonath RPG better.

What does LSPD have to do with this? I can bet you mean SRU, which there was probably several topics about in mod/admin boards and ARUN. I, as a member of SRU know how much it takes to become a member of it. We probably had 5 days with 5-10 hours of ONLY training and screaming by Ben. In the start, I wanted to quit it, but still wanted to be a part of the team who kicked ass. We made the criminals moan like pigs getting fucked in the butt. They even started witch hunting us, following the officers and recording all they do to see if they did any mistakes. In this, I mean when Wash and Shockk followed Kenny and Kirby and recorded, even said "recording" in the CB. This only proofs how butthurt you can be. Nobody can deny that we were the best team, since we used tactics, all the time. If we failed to use them, it was simple, we got kicked from SRU. Nobody can deny that SRU is, and was the best cops in the whole server, everybody who called for backup usually asked for SRU, FBI, ARPD officers, other departments, simply everyone, unless they were on off the butthurt ones who called us a "DM squad". And according to everyone calling us a DM squad, mainly the "big" mafias, the official ones. Who are the ones who is banned the most for DM?

And about all of them saying we abused everything like shit, for example they said we used /weaponequip for patrolling. We did NEVER do this until we became SRU-SWAT or whatever you would call it, where the chief gave us permission to do it, but only when patrolling with SRU. I myself, got fired from SWAT for this, due to the SWAT and ARPD leader said it was not allowed, appeared he had not read on the forum properly. This was CBF who fired me.

My main point is, if you are that butthurt about being simply raped when trying to kill "freecops" and others, train like we did. Don't go cry like bitches on the forums.

Anyways, I've made probably 5 similar topics striving to help the Argonath community, so don't tell me I haven't tried to help. It won't happen, I've come to realize that nothing will change, ever. No matter what you do, what you try, nothing will change. All you want in this game is Big house, 3 sport cars, and a business and money. When the reset is done, people will do the same thing.. RP will not improve with a reset, however, I suspect more people will become cops as it's kinda an easy job and makes decent money. No matter what topics you make, what you do in game, it won't change. I hope you can realize this.

It takes people a lot to think of simple things and keep them... One example is whenever something happens to somebody, he wont think of reporting to the email directly, but making accusations or public announce of him being abused on /p or on a forum topic.. that's what pisses me off... They think they are special.. but no, nobody is special, not even me... Just that it happens that I'm available to help in-game with a few extra commands it doesn't mean I can do whatever the hell I want...

Tbh, in the admins part I hate to see other admins or even new promoted moderators to just sit and Roleplay on their account with admin rights... Are you shitting me? You are a MODERATOR, your task is to prove your self and get promoted to ADMIN, by that point yes.. you will be able to role-play on your NON-admin account, but until then.. you have to put priority over ADMIN reports.. I also see admins who still put priority to RP over admin reports.. I mean, what the hell.. You are on the ADMIN account, your job is to deal with REPORTS damn it.. there are non-admin accounts for a reason!

pff. In my opinion, if a few things changed here.. like for example, more ways to earn $$ via illegal jobs... things would be more fair.. as less people would choose to go on cops side.. as today.. average is around 80% cops.. 15% criminals and 5% civilians...
