Many players go AFK in highly populated areas.

They'll get suspected for ''Ignoring Officers'' , and moan after they come back. If you want to go AFK , just type /q.

I shall give an example as to why people should just leave in the first place and come back when they are able to play again

This is the example, it's late at night there is still a chance that an admin may not be present. Whilst you decide to stay in game not play and go afk, pause or whatnot, a player with the sole intention to cause mischief registers. This player uses fake death hacks causing many to become suspected and those on police duty to lose substantial amounts of money to only end up in the red. - Yes i fully understand such things like that can be recovered but that is besides the point.

The way i see it, is that the administration are actually looking out for your best interests if you are to be kicked for being afk or paused.

I support every kick of player who's AFK.
:(
In 0.3 AFK does no longer create unexpected results like in the past.

Reasons to kick AFK players :
1. They are standing in a place that hinders others
2. They come back to moan about being suspected and abused
3. if server has high occupation they waste slots
So, i'm wondering why i get kicked for AFK. I'm either in my yard, or house or some where out of the way, i don't get suspected, and the server isn't near being full

???

Well, the question is: Why are you even AFK all day long?

Another question is, what gain is there for being AFK all day long?

There are multiple reasons to be AFK for such a long period, though some are more "excusable" than others.

One of the more common reasons to be AFK for a long time is just going AFK for paydays and going to bed.

The less common reasons are either forgetfulness or urgency during a very quick period of AFK-ness (like grabbing a quick drink to bring with you to the computer). For example, you quickly pause to change the batteries to your wireless mouse. Normally, this wouldn't take no more than a minute at the very most, or even 30 seconds. Whilst you are looking for batteries, suddenly you either have to a) leave and leave right then and there due to some urgency or near-lateness to an appointment or b) go out to the store to go buy batteries, completely forgetting you're even paused there. But then you forget that you came to the store to buy batteries, you buy different things, come home, do some other shit still forgetting you're even left in-game, go to bed, wake up, open laptop and you're like LOL I WAS PAUSED?

I like Ted's example, gives a good sense.

I go on, check on things, realize nothing is going on, then I'm like i'll go check facebook, get a snack, watch some TV, and check back later. Sometimes, my friend calls me, so I go. Others, I go to lay down in bed just to be more comfortable, then fall asleep.

I never stay AFK to get paydays, because frankly i do not care about money. and plus, you get like a payday a week if that..

Thank god you're not an Admin.

Players are accepted into the team for good reasons, while others are kept out for even better reasons.

As for the case, I believe Gandalf has already provided a concluding answer.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.
