Finding a particular player's exact location, strategical advances in gang/family disputes (search for '_Corleone' or '_Gvardia'), organised (crime) events, etc.

It creates a lot of possibilities. You'll find a way to use it. ;)

I remember back in end 2009, I had trouble with SAMP, while I was working for SACSm, so I just sat infront of the live map all day, tipping the locations of suspects.

This will cause much things, I was banned for abusing live map long time ago whilst was tracking cops to see what's happening, anyway gj

Well this time the people will be able to hide from the live map so i guess we wont have problems with tracking others stuff.
