Sirricharic , you are actually wrong as i had this problem they only way to stop it is to factory reboot all your hard drive or just leave it.
This happeens when the power is turned off by acciendent and while the OS is saving some stuff it corrupts something and in this case.
The file was important.

I'm having the same problem, I know what you get. White Text Blue screen. Comes out of no where. I still have no idea what the problem is but i am restoring my PC tonight, So i will not be on for.. 2-3 hours...  Try doing the same if you can save you're documents

Sorry, But a file cannot cause this.  Simple because if there is a file messed up Windows either disabled it. Or Shuts down the computer instanly, No blue scree :( Thats very unlikely. I do beliive it has to deal with the motherboard i just replaced. About as soon as i booted the PC up. This happened

Actually sickness i should know becuase i was the one that had to fork out £100 to get a new hard drive.
IF you dont already know there is something called a hard drive and when you do somethign it saves.
While you save soemthing and you turn your computer off  by the power on the wall, it corrupts all the files it was using to save.
Sickness i do know about computer's i run my own fixing company here in leicester so don't underestimate the knowledge of someone please.

Sirricharic, seriously switch back to windows xp anyway windows 2003 wouldn't be very good for playing games.

Lol, Well there is a way to restore you're hard drive as if it were brand new.

It is called "Deleting Partition"  :) Which Restoring you're PC does

Nobody knows more about computers, other then me! :)
