Are you sure of that?
Yeah, for me, sacrificing the animal is the worst part about hunting.
Dr_Pepper you can't justify yourself by talking nonsense
I'll try to make it simple.
Deer pop. = 250
These deer are living in 250 acres
When winter comes, food is scarce
Since there is not a lot of food, deer die
Let's say 25 die.
A small amount dies when there is enough food to supply the population.
Deer pop.(without hunting) = 1500
These deer are also living in 250 acres
When winter comes, the same amount of food presents itself
Now that the population has more than tripled, but the same amount of food as the last population(with hunting)
700 deer die.
A large amount of deer die when there is not enough food to supply the population. These deer are now forced into residential areas where people are, and if they are not deer(say a coyote or bear has to do this to) it will be relocated/ and or shot if attack something.
So, if we never hunted, animals would die because there's not enough food for all of them, only some.
