Potentially Income of Money to the server?

I remember a topic about this before detailing about the advertisements, forgot it.

Which Adverts are they which I just click, and it gives money to the server?

I'm also after donating some Phone Credit towards the server as on my Network I made 18 pounds 50p in British Pounds from recruiting people etc.


Also, if the owners are interested, not sure which countries they're available, but visit giffgaff.com

Basically it's a really cheap Phone Network (In the UK anyway) and they do not have customer services, what they have is forums.

If you help people out on the forums, you get 'payback points' One point is worth 1 penny, and I got 1863, you get 500 if you recruit people to giffgaff.

You can either get these points as Credit OR if you get enough You can Have the money sent to a paypal account

You can Activate a SIM Card right? And you get your own unique URL Address, so if people order their SIMs off that, you get 500 points (5 GBP).

You could post this link on the Argonath Forums so people could essentially donate by activating a SIM Card.


Not sure Which Countries these are available in, may not work anywhere except the UK, but it might work:P, I realise this looks like an Advertisement, but it's not, just trying to help the server.

We have a number of different types of ads running.
First of all Google ads, which are pretty known on how they work. We can not encourage anyone to click on them for no reason, and in effect any "bounced click", meaning someone clicks and does not visit anything on that site, is not counted to our income. However one valid click per member daily would increase things.

Second is OpenX, a competitive network to Google, who have more or less the same rules, but are less known and there for do not act as strict. They made the software we use for running and tracking ads.

Then we get the custom ads, which are often marked with a code by us.
If the code is "buy" it means that we will get rewarded if you buy anything from the advertiser.
If the code is "lead" it means that we get rewarded for anyone leaving their e-mail address or creating an account at the site.
If the code is "ppc" it means we get rewarded for every click.

The next category (which we hope to increase in the future) are the direct advertisers.
It is possible to buy an advertising space on the site, and we have several possibilities to offer.
As this is not promoted a lot, we will increase promotion in the future.

The last category are our clans and groups and server. These do not bring any income to the server.

As for donations by phone, check the donations tab.

We will check the proposal, and if interesting we can use geotargetting so only UK visitors to our site will see this ad.

Thats not a direct Advert, thats a pop-up

A direct Advert is when the Advertiser pays a fixed amount of money to be advertised on a site instead of paying Argonath per click...

We have a script that is similar to that, problem is to find people willing to put their name there.
As for the advertisers packages per view or per month will be available soon.
