We would like to welcome back our loyal members after an outage that was longer as expected. As you might know, on Saturday we faced a script kid who used an exploit in a custom written PHP file to get access to the server and site.
After checking all moves we wanted to re-open the site yesterday but right before opening the main site Sauron, who was away on the weekend, asked to stop opening and workend on re-checking himself. This is why the sites that were open suddenly became invisible again for our members.
To stop rumours we would like to make some staements :
1. Nether the site or the SMF forums were hacked.
2. You may not know there was a second attack while the video was shown, and for one hour the attcker tried to find a way in.
3. Contrary to what was told regarding personal information on members and administration, none was taken. Simple because we do not have such information.
4. For security we have remvoed all passwords, and you will have to retrieve it by the forgot password link. If you have any problem with the mail address contact us for a solution.


We thank all of you for your support, and have also seen how some others tried to take advantage of the situation. We will answer if needed and know we still form a strong community.

Regarding our reaction to this event we will not give out any details, however be sure that we will react. Ifyou have any information to add to the information we have, it is welcome.

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

Welcome back guys... I once again want to thank all of you for outstanding support...

Apart from what was already said I can add that I never ever was monitoring hackor on server, who wasted one hour to understand that the exploit he used does not work anymore and one hour to get a knowledge that forum and site do have different index files (second attack, inspired by our movie, most of you even did not see it cos he was blocked as soon as he got an index file education)...

Also other services and sites will be opened one by one, so please be patient and do not ask us when...

You found paradise in Argonath. You had a good game, you made good friends. The admins protected you and there were courts of law. So you didn't need a friend like me. Now you come and say "Aragorn, give me justice." But you don't ask with respect.

I don't know if this correct to post here, but in my screen there is a forum bug, the Country appears 2 times in the profile of the post

I wondred why the forum went down after it was up, now I know why, thanks. Great things and hey, we showing how greatful we are that you working for this community to hold it up. Continue the good work and lets hope this kid meeting the justice.
