EDIT: Forgot I had to go to school so here's my feedback.
1) Change the chat to proximity and introduce /o for general OOC chat.
First of all, it would be /p(ublic), as it is in SA:MP and I believe it is also this in VC:MP. Secondly, by the ArgonathRPG Vision, we don't make diffirence between OOC and IC: it is up to the player to decide if (s)he wants to use it. So there won't be a /p for OOC chat and therefore this command in not needed.
2) No more free cars the are a problem fair enough people need them when they 1st start but the point of the RP is to RP life i no you can steal cars so why not sript that in or every 1/25 cars is unlocked this way it introduces more reasons to arrest criminals, with free cars it defeats the object of Car lots as no one will use them.
On SA:MP, we had a sortalike experiment, but it didn't turn out as everyone was just wandering around and no-one was able to enter a car. I can say, with being 99% sure, that this is not going to happen.
3) Car licensing system, Say you buy a Huntley from a car lot, when you buy it you must register your vehicle / Number Plate with the LCDVLA ( Liberty City Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency ) any cars not registered are subject to arrest and prosecution. This also allows you to introduce speed cameras which alerts PD that this car has speeding via its number plate from the registration.
A lot of unneeded scripted things. IF this is going to happen, and I emphasise IF, then the whole registration thing is unnecessary. Should "speed cameras" be installed, it will just go by playerID and not through the car's registration, as that will run through playerID anyway. Also, as per ArgonathRPG Vision, the server should have as little commands possible and most of the action should be player-initialised.
4) Need a test at the start to no who understands what RP is as many peopel that join just drive around at 100 km/h crash and drive off.
While playing in our server, you must understand that we are not a very strict roleplaying server. If players want to drive around at 100km/h, so be it. Eventually a cop will stop him, or he won't, or he will crash. The same thing (a test before playing) has been suggested for SA:MP and got rejected by the owners. Once again, I doubt this will be implemented.
5) Cops ablility to Tazer , and spikestrips if possible.
Tazers? No. Spikestrips? I doubt it's possibility, but I would vote yes if it was. Why not use tazers? By your previous suggestions, I'd say you are a strict roleplayers. The average strict roleplayer wouldn't want powergame to be allowed. We don't allow it and this suggestion has also been turned down more than once on SA:MP.
6) A database for the most wanted criminals that all cops need to look out for without MGING
We allow metagaming. Period. Then there should be a database for the civilian that has been driving the least reckless, the player that has been robbing the most people, the player that has robbed the most stores...
7) The ability to arrest without /giveup command as no one /givesup they just keep running and running.
This would be abused.. I agree that it is nuts that criminals just keep running and running, and I would like to suggest a higher penalty on death and a lower one on giving up.
8) 911 call to be able to show a location on the radar or in text as this doesn't happen at the moment
/call returns "/call 911 [Paramedic/police] [Location/situation]" (or something along the lines). The player should fill in the location, just like in real life. Ever tried calling 911 (or your local emergency number) and not saying your location? You can wait for hours without anyone showing up. It's their problem, not those of the emergency services.
9) More realism so to get a car yes you can try to steal one which could take ( 300 secs ) or you could get a job and buy one this will start to incrrease the economical side of this RPG server.
Vehicles are already for sale. Also, 300 seconds = 5 minutes --> way to long if you'd ask me.
10) Cell Phones i dnot know if this is already in place but the ability to call and text others
I doubt it is possible to flip your phone out as it is on both the original multiplayer and in singleplayer.
11) taxi firm, as i said without free cars this will cause the taxi firm to actually be used and make money.
This idea is nice, but as I don't see any of the suggestion regarding stealing cars will be implemented, this will not be a good one either. However, you are free to start up your own taxi firm on the IV:MP Economical board!
