Free, no.

A reduced fee maybe.

I think that on SA:MP that using a police vehicle at one of the police pumps, fuel is $5 not $10, but don't count me on it.

I'm not sure if that's the exact amount, but yes, police already get discounted fuel at the PD's.

I don't see why you guys are complaining about this. You get paid hundreds or thousands of dollars per kill and arrest, and you're worried about spending a little money on gas? You have to spend money to make money boys and girls! No other RP group gets discounted gas, let alone a pump in the station! Not even us Firefighters! ;)

Actually I think you're not enough active on server to comment this  ;). Jailing suspects is barely possible sometimes . . . taking them down is simplier but not easy due to car HP bug . .  in the future both will be easier.

1. Excuse me, but I am active, and regardless of my activity, I have all the right to comment on it.
2. Why should cops get free fuel when no one else does? They make money for arresting suspects, so they should have to pay for fuel just like everyone else. Suspects don't get it for free, so why should cops have an advantage? If officers run out of fuel during a pursuit, that is their fault for not filling up before patrolling, and continuing to manage their fuel level before, during, and after pursuits and patrols.

You have all rights to post and comment here, who didn't say so?? No need to go mad for such things . . . acutally I just said I don't see you in game enough to know how we have to manage chases at the moment . . (maybe I'm wrong cause I don't know you exact name ingame but anyway it wasn't an offence or things like that  :))
In SA:MP (if in the meanwhile they didn't change it) normal fuel is 10$ and at the police station it's 2$. It's not free but the price is very low and it is to encourage patrols. Why shouldn't we do it when our chases are endless??

SugarD has a point. If cops get discounted/free fuel why shouldnt other government organizations get it ? Like medics, FBI, firefighters etc. I think it would be right thing to compensate the fuel cost. Its done irl too when the job requires to drive alot. I think when cops get then other government organizations that require using a car in order to get the job done should get that discount as well.

Totally agreed. I was first thinking about cops because they have to drive a lot (patrols), when medics, for example, should just drive when they are called, but that sounds fair enough. If cops get discounted gas, other governement jobs should get it aswell.

lol, i was going to open a topic for that.
The reason cops should get free gas ONLY for Patrol cars (ofc not other cars), is that cop onduty shouldnt pay for work car, he uses it for pursuits,
there is not reason to give the car, but not the gas, LCPD should provide all needs for cops to pursuit a suspect, Weapons, a car, so why not gas?

That could be a possibility, but then you'll definitely want to make sure it stays restricted to Law Enforcement-only vehicles, as well as other Emergency Services having access to this for their Emergency Service vehicles only while on duty.

Hi Fellas,

The fuel system has been altered now so that the fuel lasts a lot longer.

There doesn't appear to be the need now for fuel to be cheaper.

Thanks for the idea!
