It's been a very long time since my last actual 'Active' period on Argonath, and I am glad to see that the community is still here after a long 5 years.
A lot has changed in that time, and I know for one that I, myself have changed a hell of a lot from the 15 year old I was when I first played to where I am now, with what I am doing with my life as well as the person I am today.

I remember the first time I entered the server. Which actually was 5 years ago today, and I remember entering an awesome world in which I was promptly tempbanned by Ron for saying “FUCK YOU” in the chat to a death matcher. So I waited out that long hour and came back and that was the beginning to my long ride here in Argonath.

I know I haven’t always been around, but this community has shaped me in to who I am today, I am not the same young 15 year old as I was 5 years ago, I’ve changed a lot and I can think all you guys for this. When i first started i was immature and all it took was a couple of weeks for me to change and become an admin to help protect the server at night, I have even changed more from then as well, i have made some good friendships here and even if i haven’t spoken to these people in a long time i know i can count on these people to lend a helping hand if i need it.

So thank you Ron, Ronnel, for helping me out when I was younger and thank you to all the community here, you have helped me a lot, I have a lot of great memories here and I do want to make more of them in the Future.

5 years is a long time for a gaming server...I am proud and happy to have been here for 4.5 of those years, to have contributed in such a positive way to the community, the managing of the people on the server, influencing the direction of the server...I echo Petey's comments about not being the same person I was back then - I was 12 years old when I started...and back then I was socially awkward IRL, didn't type as fast, acted stupidly, was immature, hell, my voice was even high pitched back then...
Now I am a strong, confident, socially accepted guy and I think I have a lot of it to thank for Argonath...if I was not given the responsibilities I have been given over the years, there is no way I'd have developed as a person in such a positive way...I wanna specifically thank Aragorn and Gandalf for making my time on Argo being so positive a possibility...Without their trust, my life would be vastly different...
Anyway, here is a couple of pictures from each year since I started, I think they capture the essence of Argonath in all of them...hope you enjoy.

that IRL with almost every admin online was the MOST stressfull event in my WHOLE life... not kidding there.. think i crashed a record 5 times during the race.. as well as all the people wanted in on the race tho i think i said about 100 times you had to register first :P
