[ZOMBIE EVENT] 30/07/2011 ~18:00 CET onwards

  In the depths of Area 69, Proffesor Doc has been hidden away for nearly a year developing his top secret agents. The newest of them all - a miracle drug that will solve all money problems. It has got to the stage where this drug can no longer be tested on the mutant monkeys (yes, the ones with the 5 penis and hyperaggresiverape nature) and human tests are needed.

 Tomorrow evening, Area 69 will open its doors to drug volunteers. Cash will be paid for you to volunteer yourself to be tested with the new drug.


  As usual, Proffesor Doc's experiment never go as well as they seem. This dangerous testing may end up going terribly wrong... but HOW? Well... you will have to come to find out!

  Usual Patten:
1. Arrive for testing.
2. Subjects are sedated (made to go asleep)
3. Experiment is carried out, brains monitored... and ALas - something goes wrong!
4. Proffesor Doc will cover up his mistake by quickly dumping the sleeping bodies somewhere where no one will notice (like LS).
5. Players start to wake up after being dumped... with odd side effects.

Event Rules
- Zombies can only die from melee attacks and nothing else (until a cure is finally found)
- Zombies can spawnreset as long as it is not in a dedicated/ fortified safe zone (e.g. if zombies are pushed out of a certain area, they should not return)
- Anyone infected by the Zombies should play along and become a zombie.
- Zombies must RP so that ANYONE who logs in and comes across them, will know CLEARLY what the player is RPing (a zombie).
- Guns may only be used for effect, and not to shoot players. We RP that guns do not affect zombies.

Job Oppertunities
 - We will need proffesional/ army/cop security for Area 69 with good RP skills. All must - if situation arises - must be willing to become zombies.
 - Will need medical/ experiment assistants for initial testing.
 - Will need truck drivers/ transport for when experiment goes wrong, and the seemingly dead bodies need to be dumped.
 - Army and Cops will be ordered to make checkpoints and secure hospitals.
 - Medics to be available at hospitals for appropriate RP.
 - Will need zombie "leaders" to give RP advice and set the standard, organise targets for zombie attacks etc. Leaders and groups may evolve some superpowers if their RP is good.
 
To become a zombie from the start you must go to Area 69 to undergo the medical research.

Proffesor Doc is a crazy scientist who specialises in Bioweapons and Alien tech at the Area 69 army base, for the Government of Argonath. After years of self mutilation, self experimentation and alien encounters the Proffesor has to take medicine regularly in order to maintain his sanity and to control his mutating body.

SA SWAT can set some cool, heavy protected checkpoint or protect major hospital- for example LS one. Just say where you need us and we will be there. SWAT tanks for example can be used as some sort of check-point protection. I think we even have some ARA members in team so checkpoints will be even more realistic.

Yes this would be good, further in the event we will blockade important places such as the 2 LS hospitals.

  I would be happy for SWAT to come along but remember this is a melee only event. If zombies become /su then no guns should be shot.
  At the very least it will give SWAT tanks some use. However SWAT, in the spirit of fair play, should support zombie side if they are caught up.


Also we might need some kinda zombie leaders if this event gains the correct momentum.

  Zombies can't use guns they can only try to tear peoples face and limbs off with their teeth, and randomly trying to eat anything they come across, usually shouting incoherent grunts and screams with the occasional shout of "BRAINS!"

Also its a melee only type of event, not shooting event.

Also event is moved to tomorrow evening (SATURDAY).
Post Merge: July 29, 2011, 06:11:07 pm  We will need some leader type players to give the zombies some goals so they are working together rather than random people running around randomly.

  If you are working together and RPing well... who knows, you may evolve some " mutan superpowers".


  Also remember some players may not even realise what is happening, so this event really will rely on the zombie players being fair and fun. I.e. zombies who are sprinting to players, running around and just punching will be admin dealt with. This is RP event.

 
  Cops may shoot weapons - BUT NOT AT PLAYERS. You can shoot random stuff and RP that zombies are unaffected. Only way to fight is with melee until one retreats.

 I did plan on changing all the zombies to
id 162 (with loadskin) which is the most suitable.
