But yea, DD's are still incredibly boring...


I'd not mind if they stopped calling them events and just "Crazy Cutt3rs Car Crush-a-thon" and such.
Like Red Bull X Fighters... They don't call it "Bike Stunting".

@ Mikal, you would only understand if you have seen almost for a year a DD at-least twice a day everyday with minimal creativity and lack of organization.

I'm online everyday, I only see like 1 DD every week and a half and I usualy win or come 2nd-3rd.. I'm guess you just don't like DD's because your not good at them.

On a serious note, if you dont like DD's think of some events. For example, head down to Ocean docks, to the bridge connecting the docks to the mainland. Getn an NRG and ask people to corss from one end to the oter on the bridge railing(not through the road ofc!) in under 10 seconds flat. They should not use the acceleration to fly across to the other side. They must be on the railing till they reach the other side. If they fallinto the water they are out!

Or organise a death race in the ocean under the watchful eyes of admins - how it works(I just thought of this of the top of my head, it will have its faults):


Aim of the event - to win the race(doh!)

1) 2 people on one boat - any boat of their choice
2) One guy drives the boat, the other has a gun of his choice
3) The gunner can shoot the other boats's gunners down. If he shoots the sailor down that gunner and his boat are disqualified.
4) Last gunner and sailor to stay alive wins
5) The race will be held in a limited area of water - say the water hole near Back o Beyond.
5) Race is from point A to B, say from LS docks to SF Docks
6) The hoster of the event will /cbalert times when shooting can be done, say "/cbalert Shoot!" and then, and only then, can gunners shoot each other. When the hoster says "/cbalert Stop Shooting!" the shooting MUST be stopped or the respective players who dont stop shooting are disqualified.
7) The hoster can say Shoot and stop shooting within about 10 seconds, that is, the shooting can happen for a total of 10 seconds, after which he can say "Stop shooting!". Then at another point, he can say "Shoot" again. The 'Cascades of Carcasses'(just a fancy name for those shooting zones) can be decided by the hoster and will not be known to the gunners until announced.


You guys can come up with better ideas, just look around the map and use your imagination
